Hey Icmag what would you do if you were homeless at Xmas.

Long story short.me & my partner of 25 years are splitting up.

So this Xmas i will be on the streets.with nothing more than a bivi
Bag & sleeping bag...

go to your local library and see what local resources are available. climate,job, money,car? if moneys available join the cheapest gym, can get a daily hot shower atleast and improve job hunting prospects.

Great idea VonBudi there is a gym here for £16 a month and its open 24hours...

I couldn't do that either.

Well I hope the o.p. isn't in a climate like mine in the winter. -30 all the time (Celsius) and I'd he is can find shelter. Maybe appeal to local growers in your area you might know trade work for a place to sleep during lights off... or if you have bud to sell (this is a growing website after all) I'd look that way. I got 13 Oz in my bedroom right now I'd sell in a heartbeat if I needed to pay rent. It's not drug dealing it's letting go of some dope to live...

Cheap hostel?

Bus ticket to somewhere warm or where there's family and friends?

Collect money people owe you even if it's 5 bucks might get you something if you are usually to generous and lend out.

If you need to eat I know the local super markets here turn a blind eye to the homeless stealing small amounts of food (loaf of bread and something g to put on it)

Homeless shelters suck but if your area has them head to one they have resources...

Put out a add on the Internet looking for help. There's a few stories I heard people raising way more than they needed...

Tell your "ex" you aren't sleeping on the fucking ground if you have paid rent or mortgage. If you haven't paid that's unfortunate and I have no comment there as its none of my buisness.

Don't loose hope. Don't be defeated. I could have helped a buddy through a rough spot this summer where he ended up on the street but he won't help himself so I couldn't handle it plus I just fucked up my back. Anyway don't count on friends we all have out own lives and having someone sleeping on your couch when you want to fuck your wife sucks... so no one usually wants to let you in but if they do don't take it for granted and the less annoying you are the longer you can stay...

I hope it helps. I've actually been there when I was a teenager. I do alright now about 10 years later it's like a long forgotten dream until I think about it

Got laid off last week.so this year is a nightmare.here in the uk winter is coming
And snow too i am up north i have a us army bivi bag sleeping bag it says it can cope with cold weather & i have a basha too so local woods sounds like a place to sleep...
I have some grow stuff too sell just hope it sells in a week

Hey mate maybe some pals from your work might have a spare couch in their flat ect..?? Definitely don't sleep outside in the cold. Try to find a shelter.

Job, food, bathing, get those done you'll have a place in no time.

if your in the uk get on to your local council immediately, go get on any waiting lists now, sleeping rough will get old fast and local services are going to be slowed down by the floods and usual christmas rush. + your local May & Osborne death squads roaming the streets looking for fresh blood will be out in force this time of year.

...Or else, change the scenario... Cheap ryanair flight to Morocco, away from fancy holiday resorts, like a farm up the Rif or a forgotten hotel somewhere along the coast and get on with the local flow. It could all be really cheap, even cheaper than just surviving winter in UK, and also help with coping the new situation. Who knows, maybe you end up liking it and all.

Don't sell it unless it will get you somewhere otherwise store it amd it will make you money later. Maybe sooner then you think.

Sorry to hear you gotta sleep in the woods. Lame shit buddy if you were out my way I'd offer you a day or two. I did with my buddy bit that turned into a week.
