The Holy Grails are up!

Wow, thanks for the interest. Those initial packs went quick. More to come. The smoke has ended up what I was going for when I started the cross back in '03-'04 and that was to keep as much of the good things as I could about C99 and infuse it with the potency of Federations pre-split Mikado. Ive worked out most of the earlier phenos I didnt like that werent uniform, lacking potency, or had that nice candy fruit like aroma. If you liked the Orange Diesel Im sure you'll like these as much as I do too.

If you have the sun the space and can till your soil deep enough you can grow some serious Holy Grail trees outdoors. Heres another pic from an outdoor friend that leaned a rake up to the plants she grew.


Heres a couple more pics of some indoor [ brought outdoor for pics ] that werent quite finished but seemed to respond to topping pretty well. I think they shed some fans when they got nitrogen hungry. This strain will tend to do that in flower.


Heres another indoor one from the same grower that went to 73 days. I might have to use that last pic for the auctions.

The tree I grew outdoor finished up in a wet rainy season and did just fine without any problems.

Nice looking plants NC. The HG is one of the easiest strains Ive grown and worked on. She'll excell in any medium with just about any kind of fert. Truely a beginners strain to grow that delivers veteran results come harvest time. Within a couple inches of growth [ from where youre at ] and you should start to see really small preflowers towards the top internodes.

Verite - I'm growing my first Mikados ('f2's) out right now, and was struck by the similarity of mine to some of your HG phenos - quite tall plants running into long-ish colas, but still indica leaf structure, and very fruity smells indeed. I've never grown it before, and there's not much at all really - I guess it's quite an old strain now. I'm intrigued by the high potency traits though - was that across the board, or just particular phenos? Sorry for focusing on Mikado rather than HG, but it was obviously a strain with potential!

I definitely made a good decision buying these seeds, I think all you say is true. These gals are so healthy and vibrant, way more so than the Skunk X Haze I'm also running.

Looking forward to finding nothing but flowers on all 4 plants my friend

E-man, the Mikado I used was the original stuff from 2000-2001[ lots of piney and menthol smelling plants with some of the smallest seeds Ive ever seen.] From everything else I have read the current Mikado is different, some say due to the split between Federation and Next Generation. I have a pack of their newer seeds but just havent had a chance to run them yet but Ive looked at the seeds and they look to be about 2-3 times bigger than my originals. In my experience seeds should be one of the more uniform aspects of any long time stable strain.
