if i get the chance ,,,
without doubt i will have some traditional types ,
but in order to sell what we grow , we need to supply the market with what they want ,
mostly hybrids ,,
so i will do both , select some traditional types and find the best ones , then run cuttings of them and give them a good cure , there will be a niche market for them im sure ...

no spicy funky ?? goodness me , hahaha ,
those isaan people are always impressed if u can handle some spicy food ....

Is there no demand for real Haze, Lambsbread,Zamal, Swazi etc?
im sure it is limited demand ,
if you were to just grow that for sale along with thai etc ,
you wouldnt be eating very much from your sales ,

i think its generally tourists buying the stuff at the shops, and the most popular stuff currently is hybrids,
while in time pure sativas might get a look in the door so to speak ,
its doubtful they will acquire too much % of the market ,
there just isnt enough folks familiar with them ,
who knows , in time there may be a new emergence of folks interested ...

It’s all in the marketing, call it purple cake or gypsys sweat and they will come running lol. And if you recall the menu they had sativa leaners listed simply as sativa, so most people just don’t know and it is for those who do know to teach and with time and experience things will change. I think there is a good vision in seeing that Thailand has a potential to be for cannabis what France is to wine.

Quite a bit of weed is certainly going over from California,if you know you know, the Cali weed is aimed at tourists, western Japanese Korean, and Thai kids with cash.My nephew is just about to open a coffee-shop in Thailand, just in the process of fitting out the shops interior.

Carabao played in my town last night together with these guys, Maleehuana band. It was great and like you say completely peaceful with everyone enjoying and having a good time.

They play in the UK on the 28th if anyone reading is interested.

The thai flute sound like it would be a great gift for your son. I am not very familiar with it but with any music instrument I would suggest to go for quality and ease of playing, that makes it fun.

How long are you out there for Donald ?
just over 2 weeks ,
im already home for 2 weeks now ,
had a great holiday
while i was out in the north east , where i have some family
we decided to get a little bit of land near their small resort ,
just a little out of town ,
a nice open block that with a little work and infrastructure , would be great for growing cannabis ,
in the meantime they are growing some rice ...
this is pre cultivating it again for a rice crop ..
its just under 2 acres ..

heres a picture of something that passed over us the other night ,
i was out taking a piss when the sky started to get brighter ,
then there was a massive flash ,, i wondered what the heck it was ,
but apparently it was a big meteor that crashed not too far from my area
