I don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but it just seems that an awful lot of people are bitching about about not being able to obtain one of these pipes. It has been brought up multiple times that the curves are available, but there is a waitlist for the pipes. Either get on the waitlist, or don't. What is the point of coming on ICmag and complaining? I doubt it will get you one of these units any quicker.
If you don't want to get on the waitlist, but still want a narrow small water pipe, just have a local glassblower make one for you.

I don't have a Ti curve personally, but plan on getting one and using it with this, which I've owned for quite some time now(before I heard of the Ti/dome). It was modeled after a Rastafarian Chalice. It seems that it fits the criteria of an oil pipe, although it may be too tall, in which case I would just have a slightly shorter 14mm tube blown.



Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to make a point. I am extremely grateful that HMK shared this concept with the international community. However it is clear that they have their hands full at the moment, until someone else starts making them like was stated earlier.

It's amazing how wild people get over pictures of glass. Just because it's not a kutpipe doesn't mean it's something made in India by some 9 year old. No offence, but some people need to get a life.

Exactly. Lot's of great stuff happens all over the world. We live in a global economy, but that doesn't mean we can't be part of our local community too.

well ive used one and ive smoked oil and it defiantly doesn't taste like smoke

I'd say combusting BHO vs combusting a nug should taste very different tho

i wasnt talking about combusting a nug i was talking about smoking bho with a lighter vs vaping it

and i was thinking every time i smoked oil it combusted and there was a flame left on the bowl but never once have a seen a flame come from using this method

vaping or not this is a amazing way to smoke oil and definitely my favorite

ok guys my hmk slides will be in soon so i went out today and got a bong for them.. until i can a full hmk unit.. picked up an DENMARK made ROOR for an almost too good to be true price but he shows me the invoice and ive dealt with this man for years....ill get pics up soon. it has a 18mm hole but he gave me a 144mm tube aswell.. but the 14mm has no tiny holes at the bottom but its gonna work amazing i bet cause its only like 1.5 feet not a huge one

regardless of that poor comparison, vaping oil thru one of my vapes is much different than smoking the same oil on ash in a bowl on a bong, for taste, and for high. its the best way to smoke oil i think on ash, but it pales to the ti pad method. i can totally tell the high difference, and of course the flavor. it has not a lot of flavor smoked in really, not at all like the weed smells, which is the taste you usually get from a ti pad vape system.

My mind skipped over oil, I thought he was talking about nug smoke.

Anyways, just because it doesn't taste like the "smoke" of ash oil hits/bud/etc doesnt necessarily mean it isn't undergoing combustion.
May be smooth smoke, but it'd still be smoke, was the point.

Have many lying around...ti nails, pads, glass nails, with domes or hook setups, typical oil bub styles and new age styles..

Without a doubt it's better than flame combustion.
I'm just saying it's more like flameless combustion rather than vaping.
There are differing types of combustion.
Vapes are theoretically absent of all combustion, oil rigs in my opinion are not.
Not really a big deal, just sayin.

^^^ INDEED! its an amazing little contraption that i would LOVE to have the honor of trying out for myself.

and judging by the videos on youtube i would say it is designed for vaporization, and it works great for that, but i would assume that it is also capable of combustion if heated to too high a temperature (which it seems a lot of people are doing).

Maybe it's just easier to say vape rather than "low-level-combust or pyrolyze"....hehe

Don't worry HMK, your lovely attitude and exceptional humility explain it all, been following it for years across various forums, your intentions are evident!
And, we know you wouldn't get an idea that amazingly good and unique without pouring your whole heart soul and being into it....

It's hard to tell just how much combustion vs vaping is going on...would be nice one day to have a chart of avg ratios....bowl...joint...oil rig...vape...this...that...etc...!

this is my german roor.
i got an amazing deal that i though it was fake but he showed me the recipet from denmark invoices.. but if not it still hits amazing!

this is a 18mm hole.. so i got a 14mm tube part but it doesnt have the diff holes but it was worth about 50 bucks.. i got the bong and the extra peice for 125 cash cause he is having a sale till end of feb when the new roors come in...

i have doing a few small tokes on ashes but am awaiting my HMK slide.. hopefully in the near future! the new roor i think will be a oil only peice for now..

just tried this and it does work heating up the oil or oker.. ill need to a longer nail or pin for the real ti pad.. im gonna look intothe turkey baster or the okeif tube aswell..

still researching how many cans per oz and where to get the butane and stuff..

iso works amazing but i think bho has a little more yeild.
