This thread is an example of what I was saying..It's just human nature..most animals nature high on the food chain is to do battle from time to time..
Whether it is verbal or physical..when some feels attacked..first the defense comes up...then retaliation..which ensues return retaliation..and on heated to a boil or it dies out..
example..You are at a bus stop and a lady keeps blabbing & blabbing about how all pot growers should be dragged from their houses and locked away..there's no good use it's all a bunch of bull..
Now you're standing there..your minds eye must be putting up a defense to these comments..and do you stand there and let peace reside or do you go into battle with what you feel is more informed opinion..knowing full well..the lady will retaliate..and this includes the subject matter potential to trip anger..
Your boss yells at you..same thing defenses go up..and on..we do it all day long..
Nothing to be ashamed of it's just a survival mechanism..it's physical too adrenaline surges..your whole body goes into battle mode..
Learning to turn off Battle Mode when the time is right is peace...
It's said the difference of man and beast..man knows the difference of Good & Evil..Many animals whole life is war..
The Golden Rule is as simple as it gets and it's how I try to live my life..In everything do to others as you would have them do to you..
I'm not perfect and I push more buttons than I should sometimes..

All Nick did was try to help restore electricity to Iraq..

So it comes down to is any violence funny..I still think some is..A miniature poodle attacking and chasing away a Pit Bull is funny to me..

Talk about humorous irony..this thread was keep alive mostly by ones that wish it didn't exist..because retaliation is hard to resist..

packn, your totally right, it IS human nature....and I think you put the idea of violence, nature, and peace, in perspective. Just remember the fact that one, we all can choose how to act, and react for that matter, and in the forementioned video clip, a lady is aggresively attacked, unprovoked (physically atleast). yes, humans fight, its natural, but in this crazy world, those of us who are using are minds should choose to take a road of peace, someone has to counter all the senseless violence....and that doesn't mean taking it when you need to defend your self.
