The $20 strawberry cough seed turned into real flop. The Dutch passion seed was very light in color . I probably should have not tried it but it sank in a cup of water so I thought it was OK.
maybe i will learn the easier way some day . North atlantic seed notified, filled out form and sent in .
The seed germinated but barley and died

I have from CSI the Triangle Kush and the Purple Punch x Apple Fritter.
The Triangle kush is slow as hell in veg - but thats normal i believe?

@Riviera123 please stop doing that.
Just take paper towels or better... just plant it in the medium.. i use eazy plugs because i love them.
Even old seeds, new seeds.. doesnt matter really.. i get 99% germination rate..

Looks good but there is a mountain of possibilities . Is it the seeds or the grower
Good growers can't make miracles with bad seeds, I think CSI has some very good seeds for sale but it's not the only option today. I like to grow seeds from Karma genetics, Bodhi Seeds, In House genetics, I've had great results with 3 breeders and there is many more doing a good job today.

Popping one seed and expecting it to great is like picking one person from a group and expecting them to be an honors student with a free athletic scholarship to college when they grow up.

I see fair points being touched on in here..

Some dudes are literal work horses and while popping seeds will always be a lottery, these dudes have the goods again and again. Many of them are old timers on icmag.

I'm not much of a collector myself, usually pop packs as I go. Sure you can call me lucky to be able to just frantically pop beans like nobodies business... but let me tell you.. the best packs I ever got were from nobodies. "Family lines" i call it... where someone just stubbornly grows that one line and works it to perfection is where it's at.

"Hey have these 20 seeds, let me know whatever you find if you ever pop them." Proceeds to toss em in the back of fridge lol

I've been growing since '99 and I never pop the entire package...years ago matt with goat and monkey seeds mailed me a ton of his genetics which are great...got a huge stash but the best stuff I've grown in decades came from a fellow on this site who I know nothing about...he grew a superb flower from his beleaf gear...I asked him if he had a few beans to spare...best flowers I've ever grown...can't hurt to ask...most folks here are quite kind...
