In the 11th Hour I finally came upon this sweet, secluded, creekside location. Ain't no easy trick to find water up here in the high desert. This spot is sunny and moist and lush with stickerbushes and saplings.

I'll be popping a few beans in the next two weeks:

Guerilla Gold f2s
Oregon 90
Blue Dragon (B Rhino x Tibetan Gold)
Strawberry (Blueberry x Neville's Haze)

And a few clones going out:

Cherry Hemmingway
Cherry Thunderfuck
Plum Creek Bud

See ya'll in a few months!

YES!!!.....this looks exactly like the kind of enviornment I was asking about a month or so back. wish I would have found you then but Im glad I found you now... 4 corners area? I have been thinking about doing something out there forever, my family has almost 1000 acres if you add it all up, and the back yard of that land is mountains forever..... The land is so big I could pull off a major operation and they wouldnt even know Im there, I dont have the time this year. But I will definitly have the time next year...let me know how everything goes man, Im very curious about your strains as well. i remember seeing that picture before I think on OG....good luck bro....Peace

I'm from the Midwest so this Arizona high desert climate made this first season a real learning experience, but I got it dialed in much better for 2007, plus I did manage to pull some nice bud out of the ponderosa pines.

Kind buds...

THanks, keeko. But we're all done for this year... planning for next year has already begun, though. And I found a couple plants that REALLY like this area.

Spring will be here before we know it.

Backcountry, it was a Princess Bride joke... our 4 yr old boy has been watching that movie twice a day for the past two weeks, so I've got it on the brain.

The strains that finished nicely here (I need them to finish by October 1-October 7) are the Blue Dragon and some Scarlet x AK47/Bubbleberry, which I made seeds for. I also plan on doing some Guerilla Gold #2 so I can have something really early, probably do two tubs of those.

I'll probably go ahead and try these Oregon 90 beans I've been holding onto. And of course the Cherry Thunderfuck and Cherry Hemmingway should both finish well and are huge yielders.

Nice high desert buds, btw Fast Pine. What strain? Finish date?
