yeah I hear ya, I'm keeping some Khalisi's back in veg for mothers/ back ups and will try and do the same with other keepers.
I'm in the habit of taken at lease 2 clones of each plant before the first flowering and if there keepers then I'll clone more... and I if i really like them I try to back it up in seed form.

you have any experience with C. silver for herming?

colliodal silver, anything other than its used for herming is new to me. I would like to try it in order to make some fems.

I'm also interested in the "light leak" tactic (easier for me to achieve ATM), but I'm lead to believe that the C.S. would be more controllable where i can select a branch or two.

None at all. Im old fashioned. I like bustin nut on lady parts

I would try the stress induction technique though. Might be doing it with my cuts if I like them.

I would choose the colloidal silver because it blocks the female hormones making the plant think it's male and pollinate itself for fem seeds. The light stress just means the genetics are prone to herming. Growweedeasy has an article on it and how to make your own. SG1 takes his flowering plants and makes them flower SOOO long that they will make a few seeds. Supposed to be more natural but the silver will make more seeds and it's guarenteed. Not all plants will do rhodelization. Can't remember if that's what it's called but it's close. I can't remember the whole thing exactly since it was long ago. I'm not sure if you can only spray a few colas or if it effects the whole plant.

You can spray selected branches - seen it a few times here. I have some silver but theyre mint issued proof coins. Mayhaps Ill go looking around Amazon for some prices.

Another thing you can do hick is reverse a plant and collect the pollen then dust the sites you want to on its clone-sister. Any lady for that matter. Except bean - she will not go to seed.

Don't smoke anything u spray with silver. There is supposed to be a better silver product used to reverse that u can just buy. Silver nitrate something or other. Search the forums its around. Probably better to reverse a separate plant and use its pollen like wildgrow suggested if u plan on smoking the rest of the female.

yah no I dont want to smoke anything like that, I am going to have a separate cab for breeding and such.
I'm researching what would be best for me and what I want to accomplish. wont need to "act" for a month or so and I dont want to mass produce, I just want a couple for back ups or OD seed run

lol just read the Bean seed thang, but yes I'd want to collect some reversed pollen to use later on..... along with the other reasons the fact of having fems is nice when space is tight.

Yo Hick, I have some info for ya. I got my silver from Riogrande.com. You need 10 gauge .999 silver wire from them. It is what I use. A 10 inch piece is like $12.00 plus shippin. I ordered it and cut it in half. Those 2 pieces will make you colloidal silver for the rest of your life. 9 volt battery, with connector, 2 alligator clips with wire, mason jar and DISTILLED water only. 48 hrs later you have colloidal silver.

There's something though about taking a fem seed and using it to make seeds I thought. I would start reading. There's a book that I was told to get that talked about lineage of strains and a bit about breeding. Old from the 70's with hand drawn pics. There was a thread going on a while back talking about everyone letting anything breed and the potential to inbreed and a whole bunch of redneck stuff. Hate to see you waste time and you could really make something special. It's like pairing wine; anyone can uncork a bottle but a reisling goes with cheesecake rather than fish even though it's white.

What are u trying to say here? Selfing might be bad? Or crossing certain genetics to get good vs genetics that don't cross well and u get junk?

Maybe the herming issue? thats my concern, where you dont always know how it came to be.... on its own meaning it herms easy and with min stress, or the better a herming that was induced, meaning the strain isnt pron to herming on its own with norm stress.
I dont know much and I wouldnt admit to it if I did lol, but I like the latter a strain that takes a bit to herm and would want it to make me work for it.

In other news.....
I got me a nice 600w digi with lg hood to through in the room when ever I get time to. Also a PH meter and a ec meter so that I may dabble in this and that when time and opportunity present its self.
And Root riots.

I also popped some more gear: 1 Goblin God fem. , and 3 Purple Nocturnals regs... can not wait to see if I have some gems in these.

Vegging is going good most I planted are coming up and doing good I'd say my rate is 85% and going up as I dial the cab in.


Gonna do a photo bomb here soon, just getting my shhat together lol

gonna play it fast and loose lol,
I have a couple ideas but it all depends on the heat they generate and my ability to control that.
Right now I have one 400 vegging out (71f), I need to get a fan for the hood of the 600, then that can accompany the 400 in there.
it would be nice when all is done to have all three in there at the same time.

Just trans planted all and will let them adjust and veg for a few weeks, once I get the 600 and a fan for it installed, I will spread them out and let'em rip lol

The room is in another larger room in a daylight basement the intakes are drawing the air from the lg. room.
I didnt leave space at the door but on both side of door on the wall is two 4 1/2 intakes. maybe ad some intakes on the bottom of door as well. Once in full swing I might ad a fan to push with.
The exhaust dumps outdoors.
With the 600 I got I was thinking on making it so it draws air and dumps it separate from the rooms altogether, like to get some cool tubes for the 400's and do the same.
