Helping a good friend along the way

@aCBD I think it will be too much for the 70x70 space he has. I'm going to get my friend to practice training and watering one plant first, just to get him into the swing of it. I have plenty more seeds 🥳

Got the room finished and plant in, and managed to get out before his mum came round for a cup of tea. 😅Mission accomplished. 😁 He's pretty good with plants so hopefully a nice crop dried slightly cured ready to smoke by april

Perhaps 4 plants carefully trained to 4 upright branches each may provide a better crop than a single plant allowed to go full blast. I may persuade him to try that next

Thank you. Yes I have followed many of his grows and have pretty much lifted his technique when growing myself. He is a great grower

Plants been in it's new home for 3 days now, but it doesn't seem so happy now. Got slightly drooping forward pointing leaves. Temps around 77 (25) humidity around 50% and generally stable. The lights are on 24hrs.
The CFM reading on the mars ifresh app was displaying 50CFM. The ppfd is 900 .

I've advised him to up the ventilation to 100cfm as I feel it's not getting enough fresh air

Is there a possibility to trigger the exhaust so it turns on at a specific temperature? That would also increase humidity a little. More warmth and less light intensity is what I'd do. Raising the lamp a few inches to not loose heat.
The soil looks kinda wet. Pointing the fan to the pot and a good dry back later, she'll thrive. :)

In fact, my best friend and best man. In 2023 he was hospitalised by a hit and run driver. He is now paraplegic with a spine full of steel. No court case till 2026 which means no insurance pay out either. bunch of Utter C#@*TS. I can not imagine how he is feeling.

To try and cheer him a little, I'm building him a small grow room in his flat so he can tend to his favourite plant and save himself some cash.

Leaves look puffy, I'd agree he must be overwatering a little.
I'll check he hasn't been watering it. I told him just to regularly mist the surface to keep humidity up and stop the media going hard, apart from that it's only had one saturation just before I put the seedling into the 25lt pot.

Tell him the pot lifting trick. Lift the pot every day and pay attention to the weight. The day it feels light is the day you water.

He has not watered, but has not increased the airflow. I told him to turn up the extractor fan. And open the door a bit. There is a passive intake with a filter. I think that with the intake and the carbon filter the airflow pressure is barely negative, and the space is well sealed. The readings are fairly stable still at 77 and 50%r/h EDIT - the pot is still really heavy it was over 2 weeks ago that I watered the pot so I have deduced the plant isn't respiring enough and has been sat in wet soil, roots damaged, which would confirm the earlier posters observations on the drooping leaves

Wait til the pot is light, then water but limit the amount of water as well as the frequency. A plant that size won't have colonized the whole pot so the soil shouldn't be saturated after watering. I would give a plant that size about a half glass of water, maybe a full glass at most. Be patient and it will bounce back after you transplant.

A fan pointing down to the plant would help too.

Thanks. I'll need to get back in person to sort the mini fan out early next week. Hadn't had chance to install yet.
