HELP! Tame Rabbit dumped on my Farm, Can't Catch It. ANY IDEAS?

L

LolaGal

Wonder who this asshole is? Somebody dumped a pet black rabbit in my driveway.

I can get within 3 feet of it, and it is really tame, but he is having a big time running around outside of a cage, and doesn't want to surrender.

It is obviously a pet that has never been outside before. I give him till dark and the coyotes will have tame rabbit supper.

No live traps around here to borrow, and lettuce, carrots and Rabbit Chow have already been tried.

He will sit and stare at me and even take a nap, but when I try to corral him, even with a couple friends, he escapes....

Poor, poor rabbit.

Anybody got any ideas? I figure his time on earth is short, that is why I am posting in the Den, instead of in PETS, nobody will see this in pets in time to save the poor thing I fear.

HELP SAVE THE RABBIT BEFORE IT:S TOO LATE!

Rabbit Wranglin!!:eggnog:
Keep chasing him around...if it is tame, it won't have much stamina--
Maybe use a clothes basket or something to throw over him...blanket maybe??
Good luck--

The little devil is hanging out in the fence row, where lots of briars are....

The idea of the laundry basket might work.

If he lives till tomorrow, I will try the box and stick idea.

Only an asshole would dump out a pet rabbit in the yard. What a butthole.

People around here act there is no Animal Shelter. Makes me mad, so far this year I have had 2 cats, a dog and a rabbit dumped out.

I wonder if he is just sitting still after dark if a flashlight would stun him and he could be scooped up? Any rabbiteers out there?

Oh No, it's getting dark and I hear coyotes already... maybe they will eat the dead deer carcass somebody shot on the side of the road and chopped off it's antlers.

I would hate to be that rabbit in another hour or so....

you probably don't have one, but I think a butterfly net would maybe work. You could maybe put together a make shift one.

I hear they like eating cannabis leaves, you could get some leaves and maybe a little herb together, indica dominate maybe, and get him in the “hay-lock” state then nab him up...

If you used both of these methods together, I think you would stand a good chance.

I'll try gettin him stoned on some indica, then a bright light, and I guess I can afford to replace my dad's fishing net, just hope he don't catch me sneaking into his boat house.... lol....

yeah I would try what the poster above me suggested. Carrots, MJ leaves, lettuce will all work! I hope you can catch it.....

You can see what my avatar loves to eat!

Jesus Lola...what kind of backwards ass place are you at? I live in white tail heaven...we don't have poaching issues here like that. No hick from here would waste a deer....that's some hillbilly ass shit goin' on there.

Hope you catch the bunny....and the owners die.
