Some news of Headbanger after 2 months of curing.

Pheno # 1 is interesting for the effect but less fragrant and less taste.

Pheno # 2 is more powerful in terms of taste and effect.

The phenos # 3 and # 4 are the winners (the 3 is even a little above the 4): powerful effect (high clear then stone body), pronounced taste and very intense fragrance.

All phenos are Sour Diesel oriented.

They all yield good! They take a bit to flower out but they're worth the time and effort. Great taste, high and yield.

Quite same yield for each pheno : around 60g per plants under 250W HPS, 3.5L pot.

I don’t get why people feel the need to lie about their yield. This was a great grow but 60g by plant so 240g under aasingle 250w HPS, come on be realistic at least

I thought like you, but recently I grew some clones under LEDs and I got more than 600g for 520W of LEDs, and I think I could easily do better (the box wasn’t full). It depends on the strains, conditions and fertilizers used, but also and above all on the grower.

Please enough with the magical grower The yield a HPS can deliver has nothing in common with the yield possible with LED. No way a single 250w HPS made 1g/w specially in small pot of soil but this result with LED is common now and even 1,5g/W with good LED

Running 645 watt Gavita leds and getting 2 a light In 1gals for years. Was getting that with 600/750de as well. Getting a little over 2 with my 685 watt gavita. Totally normal baseline. I’ve heard of people getting more. If you aren’t getting a gram per watt then it’s grower short coming.

Running 645 watt Gavita leds and getting 2 a light In 1gals for years. Was getting that with 600/750de as well. Getting a little over 2 with my 685 watt gavita. Totally normal baseline. I’ve heard of people getting more. If you aren’t getting a gram per watt then it’s grower short coming.

This is the stupid attitude who pushes growers to lie about their yield. With the old HPS I don't know a grower around me who was doing 1g/W and it's not because of their short coming. With the recent light it's way easier to produce more as I said in my previous post, you can't compare old HPS productivity with DE HPS or LED who are more effective. Most growers with old 100W HPS on this site were on average at 0,8G/W and they were good growers, it could be less depending on the strain, I've seen many grows yielding around 0,6/0,7G/W here and when I was using the classic HPS it was my average yield as well getting sometimes 0,8G/W but never more and once again it's not because of my short coming.With my LED bars I now can make 1G/W or more if I give enough veg time to the plants it's just the light are more effective because I still grow in soil with organic feeding.

I never spoke to the quality of the flower. Just speaking to their processes to maximize yield. “Good grower” is about quality. Now back in 2007 was I getting 1g/w with my bulbs and hoods? No. I learned from and knew guys affiliated with those guys who schooled me who were getting those numbers. I’m wasn’t getting it because my skills were lacking in comparison. It’s just reality. If somebody else is doing it and you can’t then you’re lacking in comparison

All things be equal the person with the lesser metrics is the lesser skilled. Formal comprehension is required to not be triggered. It’s an observation, guys were getting 1g/watt for quite some time. It’s becoming easier for the lesser skilled with advance in lights. It was never a glass ceiling to most with the skills. Decent grower can always outperform their equipment at some point.
