Well, like it or not, the last couple of years or so has definately
seen a clone revolution in cali, indeed this is the golden age.

For anywhere from $8 -$20 per cut you can have just about every
'elite' seen on icmag over the years.

Rez, every single seed that you have released over the last three plus
years can be obtained (the mother) from clubs (sans 'your' ssh mom, but
at least 3 phenos of ssh are out there today, one a 100+day hazy gal).

So what does that say about the quality of your seed stock?

I love it when people who have never stepped foot in a club suddenly
are the authority on the subject.

I don't think you understand the depth of the club scene.
Not everyone vends flowers. Some only vend cuts.
Every one of the 500 plus clubs is looking for well grown flowers.
You and all of your friends can be growing chems/diesels/kushes/ and as
long as they are top shelf, they will move no matter what... the demand
is so high it's ridiculous...

That's not to say that cuts are not held, because obviously they are.
Are a tiny percentage of cuts mislabled? Sure. Will you get mites,
thrips, pm, or tmv? If you are not carefull you better believe it.

But I reiterate, almost every single mom you have, and almost all of the
new releases of yours (Chem D, Chem 4, SFVog, DJ Blueberry, Pineaple Cindy, ecsd, even 'chem d outcrossed males, etc. etc.) can all be obtained by any 18 year old paris hilton wannabe carrying around her poodle.
(The latter of which I witnessed as she picked
up the chem d and ecsd because they looked "cute.")

I'm not sayin every club does this but most clubs are businesses as well the only ones i wouldn't expect this from are the clubs that giv everything out free therd b no reason to mislable things

As I said before,friends passed a good grip of assorted clone Moms (not "mine",just a selection of interesting clones,is all-) to friends in Cali,years ago. If they made their way into Clubs,and that helped sick people,I think that's great. I doubt it,as at the time,those clones held too much value commercially,and not enough value as simply clones,to have been "let out". Whatever the case,you'd be surprised how inventive people get with a sharpie,when it's time to get paid.
It's funny,you think for some reason that I'm not aware of your club scene,but you're be wrong,I am.
I know people from all over the planet,and I hear all sorts of interesting things,from all sorts of places,regarding cannabis. You'd be surprised.
Nowadays,we can thank California for scripting "kush" across every single indica photo posted online. :smile:
The "pot craze" in Cali can be seen as potentially liberating,or as pissing into the face of feds,the way lots (and lots!) of people abuse the "compassion" laws to make millions. It's comparable to prohibition,except with only California being able to make whiskey,right now.
That's dangerous if being misused,which it clearly (even the blind can see that it) is,as it could potentially cause sweeping federal crackdowns,etc.
All that shit,makes me glad I moved > EU.
I wouldn't live n' grow in Cali under any circumstances....

this is so true, and the picture of a PH chick scoring 2 of the most elite strains on earth with poodle under her arm is fucking PRICELESS! Really says a lot about Cali and the future of MJ. Hopefully it will be like that for more MMJ states soon too; the quality of herb nationwide would really go up if everyone had this kind of access.

I personally have the 707 HB cut, currently 3 nicely vegging bushes. But I have heard it ain't all that, that some growers are getting hay from it. So I am not sure if i'll flower them...but then there are all the fans on this thread. Who knows. I'll probably flower one too see what its all about.

You both could be 100% correct, but remember a few things.
1.Not everybody is all about the all mighty $
2. Just because i can go get a cut from the club does not mean i have the time money or brains to grow it and get dank.

We all know most people love the easy way out, why grow it when i can just buy it.

Those can be a few reasons why all the clones in the clubs are not as fake as some people would like us to believe.

I recently saw some finished flowers of the 707hb, kaia kush, and sssdh-mysta cut (another one of those mediocre cuts in the clubs right, rez) side by side.
All very nice, the sssdh more of a skunky diesel, whereas the hb and kk had more of a 'poisonous' flavor is that makes any sense.

I've also seen some apoth 91 chem and 707 hb that were indeed straight hay,
they can be hard to dial and heat kills 'em, so run em all a couple of times to find which suits your personal taste buds the most. Heck part of the prob is with so many good choices many strains don't get run more than once thus thier full potential is not realized...

lol no no.. i'm in Canada. We're famous for our mids. Barely anyone holds medical cards here.. we just don't have that 'scene' here at all. Canada is a very socialist state strucken with poverty and the only ones that have something are gov't workers so if the gov't doesn't completely run it, it aint going to happen.

Actually a lot of people don't now about how socialist (i mean in a marxist communist way) Canada raelly is.

For instance, you guys get beer at a grocery store and doing that is normal. Over here, we have Russian style gov't owned 'Beer Store' that is only allowed to sell beer. Then we have another Liquire Store with basically unionized gov't workers. Ciggarettes are $10 a pack.. most of it goign to the gov't. The gov't controlls the speech of our radio stations and what words you are allowed to say. Like you aren't allowed to call Native Indians 'Indian'. The gov't controlls this speech.

If you get sick and have to wait 1 year for an CT Scan (somethign you guys get in a day), AND you offer to pay a private clinic, you cannot. The reason why is because the gov't will not allow private healthcare into Canada. Only North Korea and Cuba are the only other countries that do this. You put the peices together.

Most of the top strains aren't available here either.

Canada has huge unemployment and undemployment all over the country and the only way they can make 'some' money is to grow weed and deal in other petty grey market things. Alchohol here is highly taxed and expensive. Do you pay $35 for 24 pack of beer? So people smoke pot becuase it's cheaper because they are unemployed, have little income, and/or nothing to do. That's why it's big here. We grow and sell/smuggle pot and seeds etc. becuase we are pushed to it. We don't have much at all. Very low living standards.

We're a nation of sad people. Our cities have been taken over by the third world (through legal immigration when we have huge unemployment rates). Hearing English while out shopping is rare now. Facts are, Vancouver is a Chinese city where you don't hear much English being spoken. The joke I heard once was 'If Marc Emery gets extrodited to the US, then there wont' be any Canadians left in Vancouver'.

You guys are so lucky in the US with your freedoms and access to great cuttings. Power to the people. Great healthcare. Great employment and payscales. Low priced homes. A great country. Same in Amsterdam. Just great weed.

All that makes me happy up here is dreaming about one day maybe smoking Headband and getting an elite cutting. Other than Headband, there isn't anything worth dreaming for up here (except working for the gov't which is like winning the lottery).

So being a Canadian, Headband (which IMO is the greates, most elite strain right now) is the only thing I can lay claim to up here. 'Hey guys look, I got HEADBAND!'
