Some more Pictures from Today.

Oaxaca79 SKULL. The Oaxaca has a very strange kind of smell which i never smelled before in Cannabis, it's some kind of a Old Men Perfume, hard to discribe but very delicious till now. Maybe i can tell more in a few weeks.

Oaxaca79 SKULL x Baglung Nepali with tight internodes. The smell is Perfume like the pure Oaxaca, but with a sour berry undertone, really like it. The Plant is clawing a bit and has some slightly burned tips, but so far im happy with her

Thank you 3rd-3yed, and really thanks for following my Thread over the last months! :)

I sadly have to say that these were my last Pictures here on IC, there is almost no real interest in my Grow, and it feels more like a monologue.

Peace :tiphat:

That's pretty sad my friend as I'm sure people are lurking and don't even post... Maybe the bloom part will bring more interest than the veg...

Please keep posting some pics even if your thread is not updated as often, you're doing a great work with your plants!

Vibes !

Hello Guys, nice to see that at least a few people are here! Will think about to upload some Pictures at least for you Guys. I don't know, maybe it has also something to do with the Forum i've choosed, the Austrian sub-forum is almost dead. When i make a new Grow Report it maybe would be better to choose a English forum, cause to be honest, how much german did i wrote in this Thread? Not much!

So think we will hear us in a few weeks when there is more to see. The Hawaiians will be harvest in a few Days, then it happily is a bit cooler here in the Apartment for the Pets, the other Plants, and my Wife and me. Those heat can make someone pretty aggressive. :)

Peace

Hey PP,

I have a thread that started out being pretty popular, but it seems to be dying down. I'm an old man, and I am tending to repeat myself more and more. LOL.

One reason I have been following your grow, other than the good pictures you are posting, is that I have grown Federation's Hawaiian in the past. I let it go since I thought I had better. I probably did, but I surely lost that as I have so many others. In the decades since, I think I have learned a thing or two about growing sativas. I think I may have not given the Hawaiian a fair shake by harvesting too soon, and fertilizing with too much nitrogen.

Another reason for the interest is that I've been growing a line for many decades. I ruined it, I thought, by crossing it to a particularly good indica. It was a really tasty and good indica, but the line lost the special sativa qualities that made it great. Since then, I have crossed it to other special sativas, and I have been starting to find really nice individuals again. Burmese and Train Wreck have been the two most recent crosses.

It turns out, Train Wreck introduced a strong menthol terpene. I would not mind solidifying that trait if the Mulanje x (Hawaiian x Mulanje) seeds I have produce plants that still have menthol aromas. The funny thing about my strain is that the menthol trait is not very noticeable at first. It is after a few months of curing that it starts to get noticeable, but it seems to be getting stronger and stronger as time goes on. After a year it is really strong. I have a bag from two years ago that is down right overwhelming. Not too many strains that I have grown where the aromas keep getting stronger after more than a year. Crazy! One of my other favorite strains is SAGE. I have a wonderful individual. It starts out sweet and spicy in a sage and gunpowder way. After a good cure, it gets this pure turpentine aroma. It may also be more pungent after a long cure.

Before I post some pictures of my Wicked Weed line with menthol aromas, and I hope that you don't mind, I'd like to mention that I also really like the leaf shapes that remind me of Thai, the greatest weed ever, that I have grown in my youth.

Hey ThaiBliss, thanks for your Post! :)

Have already seen your Thread, it's pretty LONG. No wonder you repeat yourself more and more.hehe

Yes i think it's pretty important to not harvest the Hawaiian Sativa, or Sativas in general to early. On my first HS grow i also harvested them to early +seeded buds, im sure there is much more quality to get with the right harvest time. But im pretty new to those Sativas, so have to find some things out.

Sad to hear that you lost your line, but you learned your lesson and now can do things better. :)

Hope for you that you find some Menthol smelling Plants in the Mulanje x (Hawaiian x Mulanje), even if it's backcrossed to the Mulanje. But im pretty sure with the right amount of Plants you could have a good chance to find what you're looking for. The good thing is that you can grow your Plants Outdoor, think those are performing much better outside. Some of the Hawaiians i growed indoor are enormous stretchers, even topped and in 2.5L Pots.

SAGE and Trainwreck sounds nice, never smoked those ones, at least not the real deal Trainwreck.

The leaves of your wicked weed reminds me strong to the Hawaiian Sativa, so really think there is a good amount of Thai in the HS. I had some pretty long flowering HS phenos on my last run. Really nice looking your wicked weed!

When you will start the Mulanje x(HawaiianxMulanje)?

It will be awhile before I can get to the M x (HS x M). I have many seeds to produce and clones to cull before I have room to start more mother clones.

I check this thread. Not sure why I haven't posted. It's easy enough. If you keep posting em I'll be sure to try and comment. Your posts are a good and you take good pictures. It would be a shame for the site to lose them because I was too lazy to post. Besides, I'm pretty sure your Vermontmans buddy and I like that guy.lol:tiphat:

Yeah, let me know when you start them! Those Seeds shouldn't be so old. Not enough room is always the problem, more room could safe so much time. :)

Thanks subrob and resin_lung!:tiphat:

Oaxaca79 SKULL

Seems i was a bit high on nutrients so the Tips on some Plants are a bit burned, but for a Summer grow it isn't so bad. Sadly i've to use the same nutrient solution for all the Plants in my Tent(im lazy), and the Oaxacas staying pretty green even on low EC, some of the other Plants are needing a bit more to stay green.

Genau, mach weiter so ! :)

:tiphat:

Peace
