having long hair/looking like you smoke

Used to have hair down past my shoulder blades.

Cut it once really short on a hot day (usually lived in the desert as a teenager) and daaaaaamn. I actually like it.

I haven't let it grow back since. I use 3 drops of shampoo and conditioner when I wash it and it takes less than 5 minutes.

If I have to rub it more than 4 times with a towel or it looks messed up after I rub it with a towel, it's too long.

Life's too short to spend a couple years of my life JUST messing with my hair.
(just add up the daily minutes, guys and gals, and multiply it by 365, we spend a LOT of time on our hair each year.)


I never understood stretching my ear lobes out either. Let the earring hole close over years ago because it's just something that catches on stuff and gets infected, from time to time.

Now that pants around the knees thing? I'm gonna get killed one of these days by some pissed off poser when I laugh my ass off at the way they dress. They just slay me! They remind me of kids dressing up in M.C. Hammer pants. LOL

my neighbors are old and think im one of those hip youngsters that are computer savy as soon as i said im a web designer they were like thats cool but they proly had noidea what that actually is

meeting the neighbors im not worried im very private and other than my dogs im very quiet its also a big house so alot of energy being used isnt a problem

excuse my ignorance but iv never understood the ear stretch. I am a man that believes to each his own so it doesnt bother me nor am I one to judge. I always wonder what you do when you dont want to where them stretched. Do they have a corrective surgery or is that the way it is?

Remember you live your life for no one but yourself and those you love other then that its up to you how your portray yourself. I mean obviously a certain look could limit job opportunities however if you made it this far youll make, right? I just saw this thread, & yes i have dreads { the second time } , cut them off when i was younger, now mid 40's, don't think i'll cut them again. Hair is past waist.
I don't care what people think of me. They can stereotype me & say i smoke pot , hell, i do.
People i don't even know come up to me asking me to sell them some.
I don't sell comercially { spelling}' but do here & there' & i pick & choose who i sell to.

While I can't go into details of how I looked for about 10 years since being a teenager, I was extremely modified with super long hair that I grew for nearly a decade!

But, it is better to just blend in & not take the fucking security risk.

You don't need that look no more. That doesn't mean you can't go for the full body suit! Tattoos are coverable, and nothing, in my opinion, is more beautiful and deserves more respect that the full Irezumi.

Take that step away from all that typical stigma surrounding the Moded, for the sake of living like a king. Your scars will always be there, they will speak your story for you. Your hair will grow back, so fuck it.

If you feel naked after such a change, do what I did, go for the full body suit, and dress like the rich, respected, first class, Shogun style gangsta ganja grower that you have the balls to become....

Over in SE Asia you generally get reamed by the cops if you have long hair, or look anything "hippy". If you look like a clean-cut English teacher, then much less hassle. My long-haired friends wonder why they get jerked around by Thai immigration, police, etc.. Well, its sort of obvious, dude. Appearance is very important, and Asians judge you by your appearance, unfair as it is. Have long hair, tattoos and dress shabbily, then you probably smoke dope, that is what they think. In over ten years in Asia, I have never had a problem with LEO, except once in immigration in Japan. But that was just because I took a direct flight from Bangkok to Osaka. Even my clean-cut look didn't prevent me from being seriously searched. But that is just the way the Japanese are.

I'll go with the short hair and stay out of a Thai jail. Or a noose in Malaysia.

This "profiling" is basically true anywhere with cops, in my opinion.
