Another good one that our team of climate scientists will know about! 😉
hahah no one wants to click on your stupid links? edf.org is it, let me guess some kinf of envroMENTAL defense fund
of course they have unbiased information!how about use your head and sum up what the stupid links mean
or even better come up with a solution!
did you know some fires cant be put out by just pouring water on them?

and you have a phd? in what
i will help you
how about this lets come up with three! yes, just three ways of improving the world we live in
i love how some people like to gesture and signal but have no solutions
how about if we took all the meme posts and recycled them into meaningful conversation!

Plenty of solutions already available champ! 🤣
Stop using fossil fuels maybe! 🤣
Your replys are nothing but empty dribble!
Of course you and the other phd qualified scientists don't want to click on the links you know more than they do!
"Meaningful conversation" this is science not conversation! 🤣🤡

Its just the same rubbish and bullshit you always post as proof of the supposed "man made" global warming.

Only problem is no cunt had a PH test back then :ROFLMAO: and 8.1 is alkaline anyway

I'm guessing that's an older broadcast, though I didn't look far enough into it to confirm that.

Early on, a good number of years ago, our local EMTs and Fire Depts were doing trainings re. the new issues in using the 'Jaws of Life' and the metal-cutting circular saws they often use to extricate people from automobile wrecks when they're trapped inside. It occurred to them that there were stout electrical currents in wire harnesses inside the newer EVs that they should not sever, otherwise putting the EMTs and occupants at greater risk of injury.

But I think they're mostly past that specific aspect of EVs now, at least in the better trained and certified departments.

Oh, we're over 80 degrees above Fahrenheit on the digital sensor in the shade under the north side of the open sided pole barn today, and in the UV, but not direct sun at the moment, blocked by stiles on the front porch, it's over 90-F. on the front porch today on the mercury and glass thermometer out front on the east side of the house..

As of yesterday, the salmon run at Miles Lake sonar is 40,000 salmon above the management objective, or somewhere near 350,000 salmon counted cumulatively thus far.. The run will go on into moose season this fall, into September and probably a bit into October, even. Though by then it'll be mostly silvers/coho and steelhead.

really need to thank you for these reports from the top of the globe
that sounds warm to me for that area
we do get some atlantic salmon(stocked as fingerlings) runs from local lakes, it's good salmon though the west coast salmon are kind of mind blowing in comparison

We've had more extreme temps here from mid-June into July many times in the past, 40+ years ago, reaching close to 100 f, but officially in the upper 90s, and back then our Interior Alaska weather was much dryer. (And our winters used to see far colder weather for longer periods 25- 40 years ago, too. I don't miss that part of it).

Since then, more often than not, our summer temps are more moderate (this spring and early summer have been downright cool up until yesterday or so), and we have much more snow in the winter in the Interior in more recent years, and much more rain more summers than not.

We were previously classed as 'arctic desert', as our climate designation, but I'm not sure if someone assessed our more recent rain and snow increases, and overall humidity, if we'd still maintain that designation. In fact, I'm skeptical.

But for a long time this (later) spring, we were seeing lows in the lower 40s f., even into the 30's, and highs into the lower and mid-50s, even upper 40s f., whereas in some springs not long ago, we saw freak occurrences of 80+ f in April more than 1- or 2-years in a row.

This year, however, and despite the relative (notable) coolness of the temps, we did see +50 f in March, and March here can be fickle, sometimes having seen it at -30 f in later March over the last 20+ years.

And most of our older folk-wisdom sayings in predicting coming seasons' trends are shot to hell now. For example, in distant past it was often repeated that when the fireweed tasseled, it was 6 weeks until the snow. That hasn't been accurate in nearly 30 years now, by my observations...

If I can get down there tomorrow and have my hip and spine hold up, I anticipate getting my 35 salmon in short order. Between last Saturday, Sunday and Monday, a week ago+, there were approximately 150,000 salmon passed the sonar in the 3-day window, so they'll be like Tokyo supermarkets during a toilet paper sale in the 1980s.

I'll just need to medicate the pain enough after the dip-netting and travel portion of the trip are done to process the buggers, temporarily wrapping them tightly in industrial size food wrap for cold-curing in bundles of 6-9 fillets per bundle in the freezer(s) at -15 to -120 f., so they're safe for low-temperature smoking in the walk-in smoker, and that will necessitate harvesting a shitload of green-cut alder to peel and section for the airtight wood stove in the smoker, too.

Fucking dominoes... one tips over and runs into another. :)

Edit: With normal water depth and speed in the river there, and it's a relatively fast river, especially in the canyon, it takes the fish an average of 7-9 days or so to get from the Miles Lake sonar to where I'll be fishing, so I'm right in line for a windfall harvest if I get down there.

One year a friend and I limited out on the 'beach' (gravel bar) at the parking lot in 1-1/2 hours, and it was quite helpful, as I was busily gathering signatures for the Oil Giveaway referendum with my crew in the Interior in 2013(?), and it seemed the salmon were pro-referendum that year; they obliged both my partner and I, and we left with our max harvest, though the processing of the fillets took another grueling 3+ hours beyond the very quick netting of the fish that year.

I think I brought home 45 or 55 salmon that year (the formula for allowable bag limit for that personal use residents-only fishery is based on household size; 25 per head of household and 10 additional for each family or household member beyond the head of household) ...

Yeah 1 person stopping doing the things you mentioned will definitely have huge impact on human induced climate change won't it champ! 🤣
Don't worry about the other 8 billion! 🤣
You don't even understand anything in this thread do you.
Of course you don't have a phd you can't even string together a coherent sentence.
Good to see you were so insecure you had to lie about having a "scientific background" to try and have some credibility on the subject! 🤡
