Such unbounded flattery - adoration - Why thank you, little one. I still do not regret avoiding the covid vaccine, my decision partially based on scientific studies regarding covid 1, showing long term immunity (17 years+post infection) through titer testing (etc). Like Zeez, I was very ill for 3 weeks but chose to stay at home (except for one visit to the lab for serum draw/covid testing and chest x-ray, near the end). Everyone 'I knew' who got vaccinated became infected more than once (including local MDs) - 2 friends died (caveat Sinovac vaccine only available to them).
Not anti-vax, just practical. I had all my childhood vaccines and shingles and flu vaccines twice in the last 10 years.
as to be expected, considering the vaccines do not impart sterilizing immunity.
still glad i got vaccinated, i have no idea how bad covid could have been (didn't catch it until after vaxx, no really!) w/o it.
got my kids vaxxed, too! one was a tiny little baby (higher infected fatality rates than older kids, which is also to be expected), we were DESPERATE to get the vaxx approved for the littlest.
still don't regret it.

the air injection guns ARE more painful than a regular needle, by a good margin. but, they do the job for a fraction of the cost at much greater speed. which, oddly enough, the Federal govt NORMALLY pays damn little attention to. $500 hammers etc...

I've only donated whole blood and never received a transfusion or had any red cells removed and replaced.
I recall a Chinese plasma center infecting many people by pooling multiple individuals' cells together before dilution and infusion.
Even though the US doesn't mix cells I am still not comfortable with them being reinserted after removal...
Especially since I have been so used to just bleeding out whole blood anyway.
I'm old enough to not need to lose most of my platelets as is.
Never have been jabbed and never had Covid. The fear mongering has sky rocket for Covid, while people can be very sick from the normal flu too. At the moment the flu peak in my country is sky rocketing compared with previous years and no one paying attention to it and yes people are dying from it like every year people are dying from it.
Did those people develop a fear of an annual flu vaccine as a result of fear mongering? Ironic it would be.

by march of 2020, there were refrigerated trucks for overflowing morgues and somewhere shortly thereafter there were mass graves, iirc. i don't remember mass graves for the flu in my lifetime.
luckily covid seems to have gotten a lot less dangerous, but i'm pretty sure it could also easily get worse than it is... all it "wants" to do is spread, it doesn't "care" if it handicaps you.
mass graves ? here, or in China ? everyone that gets buried here gets their own hole in the ground, as far as i know...
