Sure, but that's where your analogy breaks down. Reading and considering something at your leisure doesn't compel a split second panic reaction. As far as corporate control of public discourse, that's changing the goalposts, but should probably be subject to anti-trust laws.

I remember reading about contamination some time ago in Japan and they stopped giving Moderna for a period of time because they found metal shavings in a few dozen vials of the vaccine.
