When I had Covid, I smoked probably 20-25 joints a day. It’s all that helped with the aches. I never did develop much respiratory issues. I was an athlete into my 30’s and my lungs have always been great.
Some people have been living their lives.
Not everybody is obsessed with propaganda.
If you need to feel like you are in possession of "data" that hasn't been spammed in every direction then rewind a handful of years.
If you think you have all the information you need then please explain how you aren't going to consider the vaccinated that tell you that they have yet to contract COVID. How does that amount to anything but another equivalent to your personal experience?
I have yet to test positive for COVID-19 and haven't died suddenly this far. I was vaccinated ASAP.
I find the obsession with the vaccine laughable at this point.
You should be able to point at millions of deaths attributed to the vaccine to offset the millions of deaths attributed to COVID-19.
You can't.
You can lie and tell everyone to listen to the same lies that got you to lie, but in the end we're all living in the same world and it's only a matter of time until the truth is revealed.
COVID killed and the vaccine was developed in the attempt to stop it from killing people.

There are still a couple hundred folks dying each week at the moment, just in the US, with the primary subvariant now being VBB. You know, the one that you 'just wash off'.

I have a number of vantage points and opinions re. Ukraine and the build-up to it that covers the last 70-80 years.
I have Ukrainian friends in Canada who were surrogate family for me for 46 years, who have relatives in the getting-decimated Old Country.
While I'm not entirely opposed to violence in this life when justified, I don't know that I've ever been considered a 'war pig' by anyone who knows me. Acknowledging that there are obviously those who don't know me or have a clue but deflect via broad and vague unfounded implicit insults..
"To every season, turn, turn, turn..." A Biblical reference of sorts, via The Byrds' lyrics re. there being a place for everything in life at some point or another. THAT notion, I subscribe to. Wholeheartedly.

The only reason the us is backing Ukraine so much is that it’s a great way to funnel billions of dollars to defense contractors.
Someone has to buy us weapons now that the war in Afghanistan is over.
What we’re doing is stringing the Ukraine people along like they have a chance. But as long as they keep fighting our politicians will pour money into us defense contractors coffers at the expense of wasted Ukrainian lives.

A somewhat simplistic reply that omits the 70-80 years the US has had interests to varying degrees in that region, with even more potential focus points at play now that there's a nearby oil line in the works and strategic positioning on the coast that's always been there, but now involves that oil line and more.
and we won't go into how keeping Russia corralled keeps Europe safer, potentially stopping even larger conflicts from breaking out and possibly turning into a nuclear war. weren't the FIRST two world wars that began in Europe rough enough to prove that they are a bad idea? you stomp small fires out to prevent them from spreading...

In the end, and considering Russia's noteworthy contributions to 'our' successes there in WWII, I figure the entirety of global politics is based in strategic positioning, both geographically, AND as it pertains to dwindling 'necessary' resources, often guided or planned by upper-crust 1%'ers with far more limited flesh in the game, who have relied on the very real blood, sweat, and tears of young people and their families, the 99%'ers, who have been too often gullible enough to choke on swallowing much of the nationalist-generated bullshit.
Many governments around the world at the moment seem bent on operationalizing Trumpian feifdoms; look at Netanyahu and his efforts to enshrine his criminality against his OWN courts.
Most of these well-insulated scumbags will never taste the steel they've unleashed upon others.
It is what it is, and until the Commoners state decisively, "FUCK YOU!! We're not playing anymore." It will continue to be what it's most often been, politics(nationalism); the home of scoundrels and fools.
