it is well known that as few as 1% of adverse events are reported.

WHO says 99.5% of infections do not result in death.

Do you have an actual source or link for that statement? I’d really like to see it.

Also, as someone who has been working at a local vaccination clinic, i would estimate that 99% of adverse events are being reported. We have recommended observation times to monitor for adverse events. The medical screening does a pretty good job of recognizing people who are at greater risk of adverse events. We also provide resources for monitoring and reporting adverse events in the days following vaccination.

For anyone interested here is a link to the UK Govenments Adverse side effects reporting web site. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-reactions

From here you will plainly see that in total the reported confirmed dead from adverse effects is, of 29/0/21, 1102, and that total adverse reactions reported is a stagering 757,564. Food for thought

Please forgive any spelling mistakes; Lifetime dyslexic

They consider pain at the injection site, headaches, tiredness, etc as adverse effects.
I believe they become “ reportable” yellow card events if someone reports these to their doctor or clinic after vaccination.

and Covid is another Russian roulette, one whose odds look much worse at this time
everything you post is equally true of the Covid virus and long term effects

That is the whole problem, we've to deal with 2 evils, covid with the spike protein on one side and those so-called vaccines on the other side, which let your body to produce an artificial spike protein, which can cause the same damage.

the evidence doesn't favor that interpretation
some judge that it does and you have to let them have their opinion
it's their lives their risking, at least that's how they see it
but you do have huge numbers in this vast vaccine trial
some people invariably develop negative effects sooner rather than later
and that is not visible at this time
recall that 1 in a million negative effects were detected from the J & J vaccine(and others)
that is very strong evidence for the system's ability to detect negative effects
and it is impressive

Yes they do. Have a look at all the other, more serious side effects too.
And lets not forget, Over 1000 deaths!

Correlation does not imply causation.
I saw a similar document from the US. It included lots of seniors with dementia and other illnesses living in nursing homes, people with chronic end stage diseases, a dialysis patient that refused their dialysis treatment and died two days later, terminal cancer patients, etc. Just because someone dies days or weeks after receiving a vaccination, it does not mean the vaccination killed them.
Its not to say there are not risks with getting vaccinated.

Which is the original conclusion or statement that my statement does not logically follow from?

I was referring to someone else's rejection of research, based not on its merit or lack thereof, but on the author's perceived social standing in the scientific community. Not sure where your statement fits in.

interesting how every single one of the old people who died with covid was fully counted as a covid death, no one said oh they are about to die anyway, but now the vaccine is causing bad effects, its like oh they are old and about to die anyway.

3 co-workers of mine caught the COVID. About my age. It fucked them up bad! Thankfully it did not kill them but 2 of the 3 are long haulers.

snip from BMJ:
How can public health officials rely on a system that reports fewer than 1% of adverse effects?

i had a better search hit before i posted my comment - also from bmj (british medical journal) - claiming 1%

i guess this whole vaccine topic depends on who's kool-aid you drink. i only drink well water.

and how about unintended consequences to the innate immune system from the injection/"vaccine"
Research suggests Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine reprograms innate immune responses (news-medical.net)
of course, this may also be happening from surviving covid.

Nearly third of recent corona deaths are not caused by virus

Nearly a third of corona deaths recently recorded in England and Wales have not succumbed to the virus, new figures show. Data from the UK National Statistics Bureau (ONS) shows that nearly 33 percent of people counted as corona deaths have not died from corona, the Daily Telegraph writes.
The number of people who do not die from corona, but are still included in the official figures, continues to increase as the pandemic recedes. Until recently, the percentage was around 10 percent. By mid-April, it had risen to 25 percent and continues to rise.
The figures show that in the week of April 23, 260 corona deaths were recorded in England and Wales, but only 67.7 percent ( 176 ) of those were actually caused by the virus.

More deaths from flu and pneumonia

The new figures show that for the first time since the start of the second wave, more people are dying from influenza and pneumonia than from corona. In the same week, 278 people died of influenza and pneumonia.
In England and Wales, only 2.6 percent of all deaths are caused by the corona virus. Kevin McConway, professor emeritus of the Open University, said this is "good news."The corona mortality rate showed the most impressive decline, he said.

Maybe ask them to play poker, during break, for cash ... if they're mentally be-fuddled they may be a good mark for a seasoned card player.

Just kidding, but it's a thought.

Some notes from Dutch healthcare workers
Anesthesiologist Lynn Casotti, who does not want the corona vaccine , complains on LinkedIn: “No one was vaccinated when we were sent to the front lines. We received applause and were called 'heroes' by Rutte and associates, while they were, completely understandably, relieved to be far away from the fire. Now, according to Rutte and colleagues, I am a wappie because as a 'vaccine refuser' I am suddenly dangerous. Wappie because I disagree with the harmful, ineffective measures. A wappie because I stand up as an empath for anyone who needs help. ”
In acute need

She addresses all people who are in favor of testing and compulsory vaccination: “You were still applauding me last year. Now you call me a wappie, an moron, a potential murderer. Where did it go wrong? ”
Casotti is supported by ambulance driver Raymond Zuidwijk. “Just like you see people who fall victim to Covid and the vaccine, we see people on a daily basis who experience the harmful side effects the day after their vaccine, first or second shot, and are in acute need,” he writes in a response. her message.
