Zee Sprayer.

I always spray in the evening after the wind has died down. Sometime will do a morning spray, but only if it is early & overcast/foggy. Most the sprays break down in sunlight or like the oils could burn the plants.

At beginning of season I looked at each month and the potential pest/problems I'd have. Figured twice a week: Wednesday & saturday or sunday would be my spray days for pests. Monday has become tea foliar day & friday tea soil drench day.

rotation looks like this: From June

3rd Neem
6th lemon
10th mint
13th BT
15th Foliar
17th Pyganic
20th rosemary
24th garlic black pepper
27th BT
30th Foliar

Another round of cuttings this morning. hope to round up the last unsecured genetics out there. don't want to lose anything worthwhile or play the reveg game. we'll see how it goes.

could only get 4 of the 5 acdc x hb cloned. the fifth didn't have any long enough yet. LST'd ...waiting for vertical growth.

only 1 of 4 boggle gums cloned too. same situation.

I picked up a 2 oz packet of actinovate for 25 bucks. I was surprised at how small it was but I guess a little goes a long way. I know you already gave me your spraying routine but I don't believe you mentioned actinovate. Would you mind sharing when and how you use it Hatch? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and garden. Hope you are able to get everything cloned you want to.

yeah the 2oz packet will last a year for me. Seen it from 16-25$. A lot of people like GreenCure for PM, but i've had great results with Activonate, but will probably add it into the rotation too. Diversify!!

I start using it in the fall both indoors and outdoor plants. When the cooler and damper air are sticking around longer. Also around here it is when grape harvest happens, so there's usually a flare up potential then. Vineyards are having a terrible time with PM this year too. Just like any other spray hit tops + bottoms, soil surface, and stems/stalks.

Last fall I mixed it with BT to treat for Caterpillars & PM in one shot.

All this spraying only works if you're consistent and thorough. It is about preventing problems, not fighting them, because once they get ahold of a flowering plant it is more managing and keeping at bay. In veg it's easier to clean things up and out. But once into flowering it gets a lot harder.

Still got weeks left to get clones, just like to start early in case of failure.

Thanks Hatch, Very useful info! My plan is like you said, stay ahead of any potential pests or diseases. That's why I've been bugging you with all the questions. Seems a lot smarter to do everything you can to ensure a good clean harvest rather then think "oh my plants look healthy now in july so im sure they will be fine through harvest without anything else." Its amazing how quickly things can go south in this growing game. And I'd really rather not waste my time an effort on a crap product.
