Fonzee welcome to the fun! Thanks for joining in. Your seed runs look like some tasty-treats. Looking forward to dusting a bunch of these branches come August.

What do you think of the CPxGOGI that are going?
The spot gets hit with the sun from rise till 2-ish. Then shaded by the loquat trees, then a little more later in the evening. Got them on the drip so they stay nice and happy, have the pots quarter buried and covered with straw. Let's them root out, stay cool. Just one plant was flagged this morning, but recovered after the water came on.
Yeah hot hot hot...it was 95 by 11am. should hit 108+. I'm bearing with it today and heading out tomorrow, got to go grab supplies and then head to the coast for the day. Might stop for a hike in the redwoods on the way out.
Have 4 of the purps x ss! wtf. They're huge, with massive fan leafs. Probably start cleaning up their interiors first. Soil mix has been holding up well so far, see how the transition goes, should start top dressing here soon.
Alright sandwich time.
Need to start breeding my bunnies. Just need a buck and good to go. Food factory.

You're more than welcome Hatch, thank you for taking the time to grow these out... I think your CPxGogis look awesome, the first one in the post above look very very similar to my cut, nice! Same open, branchy, minora shape and the leaves look to be pretty Gogi leaning. It sounds like they're getting plenty of quality sunlight, 6+hrs is cool from my experience. Afternoon shade also helps retain water and is a bit more gentle on the containers, but you're smart and buried them for temp control...gangsta son! I'll try and get some pics up of my CPxGogi I have depping at the moment...

Wednesday Saturday Spray days.
Tea brewing:
mise en place wednesday = "measuring" & de-worm my castings & water in the barrel,
brew thursday-friday
and follow it all up with soil drench/spray.
Having the plants on drip the rest of the time is great. Sun and soil do most of the work for me though.
Try to work on a couple plants a day for cleaning, checking for nasties, taking notes, etc.
Pretty easy going right now, just rolling along, waiting for things to start flowering so I can mark dates for them. Was more work during spring with all the plants to choose from and keep updated.
