It's nice to see some finished product that didn't mould! I'm up in BC and the outdoor was just left to rot because we had a humid , rainy September and October . My only one that finsished ( and still have one going) was Puck HP from Crickets and Cicadas. I was surprised, as even indoor they are mould prone ( bud rot). Good work P59

Thanks. Lucked out with the driest fall I can remember.

So after last winter’s hiatus, this year I’ve decided to reembark upon my annual Winter Windowsill Plant Abuse Project. This involves growing plants on the windowsill of my sunroom where the thermostat is set at 68° and the only supplemental lighting is a Bell and Howell 27 W CFL that goes on around 4:30 PM and goes until 8:00 PM. Growth thus is very slow.

Typically they will start flowering when I cut back on the supplemental light in February or March. In order to keep them in flower past the spring equinox they will be moved into dark space daily. The goal here is not to produce heavily, but rather to see how the plants behave under less than optimal conditions. This year’s strain is a cross between a male Baaba Qo Selections Sholgar, Afghanistan and a female The Real Seed Co. Waziri reproduction. They will be transferred from the keg cups to 2 gallon bags once they get a bit bigger.

I’ve grown Waziri repos on the windowsill before, and they didn’t do badly at all - just downsized from what they would be outside. It is my favorite landrace strain, and as I really like the Sholgar as well I’m curious to see what this cross will do. I think I’m going to call it Shwaziri -

I haven't grown wld in years. so I apologize to purists.

but this is my idea of hashplant, its hash is super tasty, oily, and gets me super high for good 2 hours or more... not much of body effect. little stony, uplifting and stimulating, but not racy or anxious. it contains some thai and trainwreck, but also northern lights - northern indian hashplants, skunk#1 or some say super skunk(afghanhashplantxskunk#1), skunk#1 contains mazar hashplant, and of course garlic afghan known as chemdog.

No apology necessary. If it's whatever you believe is a hashplant it'll do. It helps she's loaded with huge milky resin glands. I can smell the precious oils from here. I love that form, the long tall colas and coated fan leaves. You can almost count the glands down the petioles. Some of my favorite stuff has those traits. I have an inkling of how wonderful a coughing fit from inhaling a huge rip from her compressed crystals would be.

Winter is a rough time, hard to make it through without a fruitless endeavor to nurse a few scrags into spring. Sad to see such fine seeds go to waste but you never know. Spring flowers bring May showers or some such nonsense.

Yes I'm sure you're right it's funny how memory works. I can picture the crumbly hash in a corn husk but now I have no idea which book I saw it. Or if I dreamt it. I don't think it was Cherniak's book because I never owned it. I'm not sure where my copy of Hashish! is because I moved and my library has been stored in various places until I find a permanent residence. In the meantime I found a PDF online.
