I grew a few small ones in a green house.
It was light dep pulled down in May. I'm in the east San Francisco Bay Area at about 38' North. Our garden here always finishes faster because the house is tall and on top of our hill, so the plants closest to the house don't get full light till 11 am, and the ones at the bottom of the hill don't get full light until 10 am. We have to veg inside until second week of June.

I have been growing indoor for 16 years now. I pretty much apply the same teqniques outside. Just bigger. Gotta have better plant spacing out side for sure.
