Appearance: sticky, gummy, stretchy and very shiny! The texture changes to almost rock hard when frozen- thats how i like to keep my bigger dookies. Sometimes i use wax paper and drip drops on it, then i freeze then into little pancakes. Looks like those candy tab on paper strips when im done..lol.. And when i wanna toke i just peel up a patty and lay it ontop a bowlskie. It bubbles when burned and soaks into the herb making it burn for twice as long.

Taste: thick, lung busting, ball grabbing shit. I cant help but cough after a rip- its just expansive to the max. I get a spicy, musky, hashy taste. I luv it

High: very spacey is the best descript. I feel like im floating or when i first got high. Hits you in the face with a sweat that follows and after a bit i just zone out. The one thing i like is that i stay baked for quite a while. A little bit really goes a long way. Only down part is you really feel the burn out the next day. The potency is amazing leaving me feeling high as a kite everytime i toke the stuff. I once snapped a rip from my tube with what i call a MolotoV...primo tasters, soaked in oil, then kiff spriknled on top...It burns like napalm and set me on my ass. The volcano vape and 5 ft glass binger is my weapons of choice when i wanna get Fuked up Peace All

i barely tap the chunk with the flame, it melts into oil and drips nicely like water

i did not make it, a bro did it a few years back with mass amount of trim. Multiple 1 pound pickle jars were floating around for a bit. In my freezer i got about a ozzie ticket left.

I make about a 1/2 lb of oil a week out of 50L of Iso. Small investment with a high return.

Heya Northern Farmer Awesome to hear you take a likings to the oil. I love the stuff with a passion, but then again ive always loved any kind of hash maybe you can help me out making some. Do you use med grade 99% iso? I made some waaay back in the day but its not this the report is on. Mine tasted more leafy for some reason. Also do you run the black murk water thru brita filter? i heard that was a key step? Again, thanks for stopping by.

the more times you filter the better but i have no experience using brita filter.

I used 95% everclear, which I can buy here (apparently some states dont) -- use it like the iso but it wont get that chemically iso flavor, everclear is food grade too so you don't have to worry about any trace bad stuff

I think you get best result when doing ISO extractions when you have quality starting material and when you wash it -> wash it quick to if you want the best out of it! You can always make another, longer wash which will produce that blackoil!

Here´s some ISO I made couple weeks ago from 3 G of LR buds. I washed them for 12 seconds, check it out:






The only "messy" color came from previous ISO playing from the razor. This 12 second wash was almost colorless

I just made qwiso for my first time. I used aprox 5 grams of mediocre nugget and yielded about 3-4x the amount that herbalistic has in his pictures. I washed my buds for 18 seconds in the iso making sure to shake gently because I hear this gives the best results. After a day of letting it dry I scraped it off with a sharp knife. The consistancy was hard/flakey. Since I'm on probation I can't smoke that much. I've found out that I'm able to get my system clean within 24-48 hours if I only take 1 large hit out of my bong. I loaded up a bowl of the same bud and placed all my hardened oil on top "wanted to get the full effect never made oil before". Off that one single hit I was soaring for I'de say atleast 4-5 hours. I love this stuff! Looking forward to making some out of better quality herb in the near future.

I made another batch today with some about one gram of hashplant.The same bad stomache ache happend and i was on the toilet for like an hour it was horrible.I think i will stick to the kiefed hash or yummy bubbly hash.

I dig ISO so far. Seems to yield a bit more than BHO... which I've only done once.

BHO is a far better solvent for oil making than ISO or everclear, yall should try it.

I haven't tried BHO yet but the end product does "look" better and I am told it smells better too -- my everclear hash still had a pretty good smell though

the only thing holding me back w/bho is the sketch factor of blowing up my kitchen, which I know is not probable if you do it right

at least with everclear there's no heat used and no real chance of explosion (i guess the alcohol could catch fire but I don't believe alcohol fumes are explosive like butane) -- plus with BHO you need a tube or some sort of homemade contraption to filter it with, with iso I just use a pyrex pan and a mason quart jar and can do everything inside

I think it was the chemicals in it but it did make me sick and i made that with one gram becouse i just wanted a little to put on top of a bowl.I made it the iso way which will never hapen again.
