I have a friend (childhood friend) who's a real asshole. We call him norm the weasel. He'll try to trip you up every time. You know, in case you do better than him. So don't EVER use him as a reference. Other than that, he's an ok guy. lol

I’ve been getting some very off the cuff answers about growing. Things like not needing carbon filters just burn incense and just get some manure and dirt from tractor supply company. It seems like the person telling me this is laughing behind my back. Anyone had this feeling?

When I was checking out boogie boarding and body surfing at Maverick's, my questions were along the lines of what kind of training do you need.

I would get advice like, "don't worry about it, most of the guys out there smoke enough pot to kill an elephant".

Which is not exactly water safety or training advice.

There was a grow store in Berkeley and another in Santa Rosa that really knew what they were talking about.

But it takes time usually to find people like that.

Personally I think you get better advice from people who sell their plant labels for a reasonable price. :rtfo:

These days that means the wide boy popsicle sticks at the $ store.

Plastic plant labels you practically have to take out a loan.

Used to be $3 for 100.

It happened when I told my guy who told me he grew (I was his customer). He probably didn’t want me to “compete” with him.
