I'm a Duke fan myself, but I gotta give props to what Dean Smith and UNC have accomplished over the years. Two of the greatest programs of all time less than an hour away from eachother...I guess we can agree the ACC is the best conference in college bball.

As I said in another college basketball thread I'm a Tarheel boy by birth. Happy birthday Dean Smith, we miss you but ol' Roy does a good job!

The schools are like 11 miles apart and it goes without saying the state of North Carolina is the college basketball mecca.

duke fan here... well really.. I like both Tarheels and Duke... and App State

But Duke Hospital saved my life... so... well.. you can't really argue with that.

But as far as college towns go... Chapel Hill is the greatest in the world. Top of the Hill... the Ratskeller... Paywaket! Oh yea... SPANKY'S!!!!!
