I only used a small amount with the new seed starters. If I had used more those would have surely died. The 2 DBMH plants are as best as I can get them for now. It's just a waiting game. I'll feed a constant PH 6.5 until I flower them. Being patient is an essential part when our plants get unhealthy. In time they should look normal again.

I'm thinking about trying a lower PH range with Promix?.. Everyone says to use 5.8-6 with Promix. I couldn't get that to work as well when using ph 6.3-6.5. Promix uses a PH buffer to keep it at 5.8 - 6. When I test my PH runoff it is 6. Maybe the Buffer is depleted and the PH is too high feeding at 6.5?

Thats no fun burning stuff, I know the feeling. Had to rescue those plants! Happened to me with dehydrated chicken manure. Just had to wait another year for harvest. Enjoying all the excellent fruit.

I just finished trimming APSS. As good or better than any of the OG kush cuts I've grown in the last 30 years. Most clones from others are good, but rarely next level good. APSS falls into that category for me. She will be a long term keeper..

The only other cut id like to try is RBK.

Thats great, glad to hear you found a keeper.

I guess myco bliss is a mycorrhizae product? May want to check out The Potcast Episode 61 with Matt Plourde from Promix. They discuss the new Promix Connect with mycorrhizae and talk about different types of formulations with mycorrhizae products.

Interesting flower structure. Looks like some good yielding heads.

I was trying to remember, where was the Deep Chunk seed from you recently tried to germinate? Humboldt CSI has a reproduction but I wasn't sure if thats waht you got.

There shouldn't be any legal issues selling cannabis seeds in the USA any longer. Back in 2018, the farm bill paved the way for Hemp to become fed legal. This made all cannabis seeds that are less than 0.03% THC fed legal. Back in January 2022, an official at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) quietly confirmed that, yes, cannabis seeds fall under the legal definition of hemp and, yes, they can be sold openly and without criminal liability...If you know you know. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has effectively acknowledged cannabis seeds are generally uncontrolled and, therefore legal, regardless of how much THC might end up being produced if those seeds were to be cultivated.

Finicky plants, sounds like. Better find out what she needs. Tufty producer though!

Yeah I just found that out and told Gypsy Nirvana in a pm. I think it was new information to him!

If the seed itself is less than 0.3% THC its considered hemp. Makes me feel much better when you have jars of seed sitting around from the past.

No way for the DEA to tell the difference between Hemp or Drug type cannabis seeds. They would have to grow every seed to tell the difference. It's not feasible for the DEA or law enforcement to do that. There is a ton of info on this..

Many are selling clones under the hemp law, saying it is legal since insignificant amount of THC in veg cuts. Have you heard of the DEA challenging that?

Sorry, can't delete post. I found this on leafly -

Is it legal to buy cannabis clones online?

In April 2022, the DEA issued a statement in which they defined cannabis seeds and clones as “hemp,” because the seeds and clones themselves contain less than 0.3% THC. If considered hemp, they would be legal to buy and ship anywhere in the US under the 2018 Farm Bill. However, the DEA statement is not law.

Cannabis is still fed illegal. Clone is much easier to test than seeds. No seed would ever test for THC. A clone will.

Not sure if you saw I edited comment with info I found on Leafly. Sounds like DEA will not pursue, but not the law. This was in article -

How binding is the DEA letter?

The DEA calls the letter an “official determination,” but whether or not they are legally bound to this position is a bit hazy.

“That to me sure seems like something the agency would either be bound to going forward or at least be very hesitant to deviate from in any kind of enforcement context,” said Pennington.

For now, the DEA’s acknowledgment that cannabis seeds, clones, and tissue cultures are not controlled substances isn’t law, but it is a big step forward in relaxing restrictions on cannabis.

I think I found the issue I've been having.. I'll break it down a bit. My plants are alwys in perfect health in the summer or when the temps are warm.. When the temps drop too much my plants have issues. Checking water temp isn't something I'm used to doing. My veg feed is 59f or lower.

I found this on the net. Cold Water uses on Cannabis plants...

Cold water tends to be more of an issue than hot water. This is usually because water is much colder during the winter months, especially for growers that use their own tap water. Anything lower than 60f will cause your plants’ roots to almost entirely cease growing and can hardly absorb some nutrients such as phosphorus. This element can’t be absorbed at temperatures lower than 60f, causing clear nutrient deficiencies.

I added a 5w heater to my veg bucket set to 75f.

I never see the same issue in flower because my feed for that is 70f.

Haha I was thinking that wasn't necessary when I saw someone on here using those the other day. Looks like it has useful applications. I thought with the air temperature warm it would take care of the root system. Let us know how they respond.
