I couldn't not respond to this. You still don't get it, which is really ironic.

Son, you might not have setup the thread with the idea in mind that it will be used to teach noobs everything they need to know to grow in coco, but anyone that has read the thread from cover to cover, knows for a fact that thanks to YOU, it is what the thread evolved into.

And, anyone who has read it cover to cover already knows that I recommend watering with runoff which is impossible without drainage holes.

I get it perfectly well... methinks it is you who missed something. You tried to addendum something that was there already.

Just wanted to thank you for the tips!! They came in handy already! I transpanted 2 seedlings from perlite, into Coco. And a slightly bigger one in a bubbler. The Coco ones are bigger now and look nicer color. They are all starting 2nd set of leaves. The bottom of the Coco is still moist, but the top dries out...should I hold off watering? When I do water, should it be with nutes now...they have 2nd set of leaves growing. The seeds I started are both up and growing. Everything is looks good and is growing fast! Thanks for the help, take care.

I would say you should be safe to feed now at least I was able to by then from seed and used full strength like Head says as soon as they have roots growing he's feeding..

Also I finally got the Head Formula down with my Cutting Edge Solution products! It's 6ml Micro 10ml Bloom 5ml Plant Amp 5ml Mag Amped and the profile comes out to...
(N) 95
(P) 69
(K) 110
(Mg) 59
(S) 60
(Ca) 92

not too bad huh? I'm experimenting to see if I get better results with the Kool Bloom slams this cycle and then go with out them next time and see what happens ect.. But yea there it for you all that got the CES samples this summer I also made a thread with The Recipe with CES and Liquid Kool for those interested with all the nutrient profiles worked out with ratios ect.. I think I did a good job so newbs check it out and you will learn a lot!

Hey head, ever hear of or consider this fytocell stuff? seems to be similar to coco but hold twice the air content... sounds good to me. Not much info on the net from the ganja guys.

Could be a great additive to coco or replacement altogether.. should work well with your formula

i do not think it is available here. never seen it, but it is interesting.

i'd prolly start at 8/16 in a new inert medium I was unsure of.

Hey H3ad, things look great here! The second set of leaves are growing quickly. Fed a little half strength because they were drying out. I assume when I transplant I soak the "new" coco in full strength nutes? Thanks for the help!

hey head quick question, if you measure your nutes with digital scales should you incorporate the weight of the product for example 4.79kg/3.73L=1.25 rounded, so hence multiplying the mL needed by 1.25?? sorry for stupid question.

hey i hand water with 6 9 gh koolbloomcal mag and ful power fulvic acid my ppms never get above 1200 in 2 gallon pots do i neeed to flush

I'm just about to finish my second run in coco, this time I ran coco mixed with coco crutons, and the plants actually turned out not as well as they had on my first round that was straight botanicare coco... overall ended up a few inches shorter and just not as robust for some reason. (did have some k lockout issues at some point, dont think they had a huge impact though). Would like to note that I didn't reuse any coco and started with a fresh batch just to learn the media and make sure to isolate any variables.

I think I'm running to BIG of pots.. 2.5 gal square (I believe botanicare) pots, with about 1-2 weeks veg, 12 plants in a 4 x 6 area. The plants never seem to drink up the media and it is always wet being watered daily, the roots dont really fill out the pot completely at harvest time.

Planning to switch to smart pots this time and running a 40% perlite mix.. think I should drop the pot size down to 2 gallon or bump it to 3? since those are the smart pot options avail...

thanks!

anybody havin probs with the flora series should switch to floranova bloom, i have and wont be going back ever again, plants just keep getting better n better, not a thread jack, as its just lucas with some organics added to it, 8ml per gallon.
