hey there,

this year i have time to really put some effort in that grow... so i travelled there again, carried another 20l of water, 40min hike up a hill,..well, but plants like it, they grew heavy the last 3 days, and forecast is like splendid growing weather, sunchine with thunderstrorms inbetween...

so from now, nothing to worry...will be there in a month or so :D

hey pipeline, thx for leaven some words :)

well, two very hot days are coming so i spent the 20l that were left and carried another 20l....

some plants look like they got a ph issue, the creek water may be too alkaline, so i topdressed with some nitrate lime,...growing fast....maybe they also need some fert... have to order some...

I think they look good! Plants look that way because they are growing so fast this time of year! I would get some fertilizer put down as soon as possible. I recommend working the soil and top dressing with organic fertilizer every 3 weeks.

Keep up the good work! :smoke:

Nice guerrilla grow, reminds me of being young again.
Judging by the looks of the surrounding vegetation, you might not need too much fertilizer. I would not go too heavy with anything. Back in the day there were no grow stores, no hydro shops very little"Nutes" to use, you had to be extra resourceful. I used to look for dead trees, snags. At the bottom of the snags around the base if you dig in there it's piles of insect frass mushroom compost. Bark beetles, termites, ants and all kind of bugs get in under the bark of a tree when it dies and all that bug shit and digested lignin and cellulose and minerals drop down the inside of the bark layer to the bottom of the snag and pile up down there and compost. Till you come along with a sack and dig it into your holes. Got to be conscious though, you are disturbing a natural little ecosystem. Look out for stuff, I dig mostly by hand and don't take too much from just one place. But up here in Humboldt trees are huge and have hundreds of years of good natural organic insect frass mushroom compost, already inoculated with the local myco. I've seen it feet thick collecting for so long. And it's all free, and not too heavy to carry.
Good luck and be careful with your shit.
Oh, forgot to mention one more thing.
In my experience, putting more effort into WATER can be the most important thing, way more then fertilizer, which will raise your water requirements. Carrying water is the most work but has the biggest impact in your grow and WILL affect your harvest the most. Unless you live in a wet place or have unlimited water close. In Ca with a Med climate, water is numero uno.

hello

my fert arrived and i already dropped it...

also temps went down significantly....finally some relaxing time for my plants.... most grew well, but i have some bad holes, assume there are roots from trees besides taking the water out of them...

collected 80L of rain again, dropped it instantly to get the fert going...

placed my 900mm stalks, just to be prepared....

looking good

hello

yesterday i wanted to water them plants, had 15 mm rain the last week, collection-tank was filled.
unfortunately two mice drowned in the rez, had to dump the whole 100L. what a stinky mess :(. i already considered this possible so i always put a branch in the tank for those critters to climb out. obiously i forgot about that last time. as it was the last rain for the whole month im really pissed, the plants´d have needed seriously.

so i carried another 15L to at least give them some water and to spray my bacillus thuringiensis....

most plants look good, bad holes still look bad...

hey guys

finally the weather got more moderate, collected 500L rain inbetween, plants like it a lot, next year there will be water right from the start ;)

sprayed thurizide three times and topdressed 10kg guano for the finish.

plant size is ideal in my opinion, about 4-6ft in start of flower

some are already @FD20

looks good....

hey guys

finally there were 60mm rain...., first visit that every plant looks healthy and not suffering....

all in all it is my best season so far, plants have good size and are flowering on time.... hoping for a golden autum...

still, without my rain collection this year there would probably be no harvest...

the guano is giving them a nice flowering boost....

temps are dropping in the next days,... but hopefully rise again....

Looking so good amigo. Gonna keep you well heeled through the winter for sure. What a difference a bit of extra water makes eh. Do you ever use anything for the caterpillars. BT products always keep me safe when theyre trouble.
