yeah is better put them in bigger recipients if you need to water daily... sure they need more space. and then you'll water every 2-3-4-5 days, depending on the size of the recipient.

good luck! they look healthy.

Sorry bout the short one sentance post I was rushed out the door. I wanted to at least say something before I left though

Your plants look good, I just thought the roots might want be wanting a little more space. I have used those same cups for seedlings and I do believe they are only 12 oz. I usually transplant around 14 days really just depends on how they respond during the first two weeks.

Hope you don't mind me lurking your grow :lurk:

Please lurk and post all you want. I'm new and want to learn as much as possible.

They could be root bound a little but I've seen plants fully grown out of these size cups (16oz).

I'll post new pics tonight hopefully. They've grown lots. :)

from what i have read dropping temperature a little lower and spraing your plants with water should stop the spread... or at least buy you some time.

then you have google... and maybe someone who had this problem will read this and help you.

First thing to do is to look at the plants and put those with spider mites on them separately... if you can spot them of course.

Best of luck..

Yes you can reduce temps to the low 70's and their growth significantly decreases, but I think you've been having issues with higher temps? One of the great things about these forums is the members. Alot of them were previous members of older sites like Overgrow. You will most likely find anything you need to learn about growing MJ somewhere in the forums using a quick\advanced search. Anyway read this bit of info it's detailed and gives you quite a few possible options to help reduce them damn pests. :joint:

Thanks guys. I looked around and found good info.

I searched all the plants really really good, twice. Couldnt find any others. I will keep a close eye and check many times daily.

How about No Pest Strips for prevention?

Floramite if it gets serious?

I have no experience with a large number of spider mite outbreaks, but I've used neem oil spray as a precaution before. It's contact only so if you happen to see one spray in the general area and search with a magnifying glass. Least you only have a few plants to check :joint:. Usually if they are white you have some time to kill the few alive before they lay eggs. Don't underestimate just one of them though because that one mite can become a spider mite outbreak if the coniditions are right. Use a magnifying glass and see if you can spot anymore.

Floramite works, but some people don't enjoy putting these chemicals on something they are going to smoke, especially during flowering. However, you haven't flowered at all yet so you are probably safe as I'm sure one treatment will be completely gone by the time you harvest.

Good Luck

Pulled the 3 plants and finely searched for mites because I saw a couple more.
I stared and tried to kill every one by hand.
Cleaned out the area with some OMRI bug spray.
Going to get some no pest strips.
think I'll transplant to 1 gal bags

might get some floramite just to have. maybe just a 1oz bottle. pricey shit.

i cleaned everything a couple times now
the roots were all crazy in a circle at the bottom wrapped a lot.
I think theyll really take off now! :D

bugs are discouraging. :(
I hope they stay away.
I got a hot shot no pest strip. it's a hanging plastic thing.
I saw a picture of somebody cut a piece out and put it in a little plastic container with slits in it.

those strips are only to see what pests you have in the grow area.. they do not help you to control those pests.

good luck.. hope you get rid of those f#ckers...
