Growing Ethiopian and Bangui Haze x Ethiopian

The Bangi Haze x Ethiopian at 5 weeks are quite homogeneous. The flowers and resin glands are very little, expressing its sativa heritage. This is an easier one.
I've got cuts from the most interesting among them, including males, so I can select and make F2 and several crosses.

Some new pictures of the Ethiopians at 13 weeks. No doubt they show a peculiar shape. And a pretty good amount of resin for such a plant.

They could be in a better condition, but they share the tent with very diverse strains and this has conditioned their diet a bit.

Anyway, I'm happy with them so far.

And these are a couple of Bangi Haze x Ethiopian with just 6 and a half weeks. Really much faster than Ethiopians, some of these plants produce quite compact buds. I'm very interested on what they can deliver.

I believe the fastest ones can be harvested in 10-11 weeks.

Hi Carraxe,

Really interesting to be able to compare the development of the pure Ethiopian vs the Bangi Haze x Ethiopian cross. It's crazy to see how the lowers of the pure Ethiopian look almost ready while the top of the cola looks very immmature. Pure tropical sativas of this kind have a capricious and irregular flowering development, especially indoors with more stable photoperiods. The Bangi Haze x Ethiopian looks on the other hand much more tamed and faster flowering, as expected.

Your quest of the best quality sativa effects is inspiring, hope you succeed, you really deserve it

Just two days for 9 weeks, and this plant is by far the fastest Bangi Haze Ethiopian. Buds are hard and compact, I guess this one leans to the Bangi. The other plants need 11 or 12 weeks.

Some weeks ago I cut everything, so I'm waiting for the smoking test after some curing. I still have some males, other than the one I used to pollinate a Mextiza, but I don't know if I'm going to use them.

I just kept the compact specimen, the others were a little weak in smells. But I'm flowering the most resinous three of the bunch.

Thanks, Carraxe, looking good. I've got some BHxE waiting in the wings. I'm looking hoping for some upbeat, creative effects.

I've found the way of getting a stronger punch from these fine herbs. This is about a gram of hash from Ethiopian females. Nice soft smell. I'm going to have this for breakfast.

I'm sorry I haven't space enough to keep all the pictures I used in my threads, so I'm going to delete some albums, like for example this one.
