I sprouted some ChocoTonic S1 with a nice surprise, nothing special but nice to see at the least! Trichomes are already on the leaves and this can't be a bad thing!

Not all the seedlings are like these, but only a few of them.

I have yet to pop my chocotonics lol - I agreed to test for breeders again so I don't have space for them.

But I plan on getting them running by this year.

Very nice pictures.

The resin that early isn't too rare but you have taken much better photos than i can.

With my bare eyes i can see trichomes on some of my seedlings, but it looks much nicer in macro.

Hey guys, time for a little update!

The S1 plants from seeds are going nice and some of them are really covered in a scented resin! Thick trichomes and a fast flowering for only 28 days of bloom with a limited stretch. I'm really satisfied!

Before lollipopping in the RDWC system. It has 12 sites for a total of 4,2 sqm. Overall there is a good omogeneity in growth even with 12 different plants from seed.

I'm waiting the last flowering of the S1 seeds batch. If they will satisfy me 100% I'll release them for sure.

Than I'm going to make some ChocoTonic F2, trying to keep the indica pheno, with the purple color and the best orange/milk smell along a fast flowering.

On the other hand, I'm testing some female MK Ultra x ChocoTonic and some other lineage that could be interesting in the next future to make some new hybrid!

33 days of 12\12 and everything is ok. pH is around 6.3 and EC is around 1,4 mS/cm. Stretch is over and the most important part of the flowering has started.

Not all the 12 phenos show a lot of resin like the ones in the pictures, there are a couple with not so much resin. However, the smell is awesome on each of them! There are some difference in the smell from plant to plant, but overall they really resemble the mom.

The main issue, if an issue can be, is that they seem to be low yielder, or to be correct, just 4 or 5 on 12 seem to be high yielder. However I will see at the end, taking into account the total time of flowering.
