Hey Madmac!
Very beautyful plants especially early malawi and congo. This congo really reminds me of last years congo in our garden which showed great resins and was everyones favorite smoke. Unfortunantly only congo males this year :tiphat:
Wish you all the best for the upcoming harvest. There is no other feeling like some outdoor harvest at autumn wheather...enjoy :peacock:

The early Malawi is definitely a blessing for your climate! Looks like the other longer flowering Malawi also have great chances to finish correctly, i would never think that our Malawi would finish in Holland, very interesting ....
Big Kudos too you! We are all blown away... all are very very proud that this lady's are doing so well here... like i say before after finish my indoor grow i was sure this is it! And voila it is even better outdoors than expected like you noticed also the later Malawi will finish properly here und very bad conditions without mold or other issues... if this make the round here... plz reserve me some Malawi seeds for the next season!

I'm glad you and your wife enjoy Malawi's aromas, originally (the Old Killer Malawi and earlier generations) were not so aromatic compared with modern strains and modern terpene standards ... but we have tried to improve the aromas in the line in latest generations, as we commented previously the early flowering Malawi phenos are usually the ones with the best smells.

Everybody loves this smell! also my band mates and friends who hat the opportunity to try... :) Well if women are also attract by this odor like my and my friends wifes...
Think about to create a Perfume!

Your purple PCK looks a bit like the lankier Old Purple PCK mother, how are her aromas ? Forest fruits or more earthy/hashy?
have to visit my spot... next week...

The Congo is catching up very well ;) Love the resins she is producing. Good resins on the ErdPurts too!
Yes PCK, Nepal Jam, Erdpurt and Bangi are also ready for our climate!
Harvest in ca 2 weeks...
Panama could also finish proper here...! next season :)
there is so much more to discover ... well we all love the sativa high from Malawi & GT... it's so much better than this couch lock weed from the past...! Now we know we can finish this 100% pure Sativa (Malawi/?Panama) outdoors

It's always interesting to test strains and parental plants in very wet spots to evaluate their mold resistance.
Hope the weather is still good there for at least 3 weeks more, although the climate is usually quite variable in Holland at this time of the year.

Thank you very much for the feedback and frequent updates. :)

ha that was necessary to show my friend's what's possible with your Seed's @ 51°lat... now you can update your webpage :) successful grown under baddest dutch climate @ 51°lat :woohoo:

many many thx dubi for this great Seed's... your hard work you spend the last 10 years will pay back now! I can tell much... but as you see the pic's talk for themselves... Malawi is the Queen!
Your Seeds made our life better!
respect...

Harvest Night because of bad weather

Harvest Night because of bad weather

high @ all,
so this morning i did harvest my guerrilla outdoor grow because of the bad weather that's coming the next week...
Now it will rain a lot next 4 day's and the temps are also low for the next 2 weeks like 3 - 10°C.
Good News are that non of them had bud rot or other problems :)
The biggest bud's had PCK & Nepal Jam followed by Erdpurt. One Erdpurt and the Congo had problems... looks like with the roots... think a rat or similar has cut some roots or eaten the roots...
Well Bangi looks a little later too here but i chopped the two.
The most beauty plant was the PCK... like the colors and the odor is fruity sweet... very nice! She looked with the Nepal Jam and Erdpurt mostly finished...
So @ all spots the GT if filling up too... maybe the cold and wet is not a issue than i can harvest in november :)

Conclusion:
Malawi is clear the winner outdoors this season. Such well developed plants everywhere and big bud's too. Finished just in time and the odor is amazing! Looks the holy grail for outdoors too here :)
So for this first test everything performed much much better than expected!
Recommendation for 51°lat after this grow are:
1. Malawi > early pheno is best > breeders pack
2. Pakistan Citral Kush
3. Nepal Jam
4. Erdpurt
5. Bangi Haze
6. Congo
mostly too late but nice to grow GT.

Thank you very much ACE for this great genetics... it much better than exerted and all plants perform very well here @ our lat. Malawi is the Queen followed by the rest :) Thats the best news because she is my favorite @ moment ;-). Malawi&PCK will be grown outdoors next season that's sure!

GT is filling up

many thx Koondense,
well this grow was amateurish + guerrilla style!
but that's the case too see what performed best under this really bad conditions... and voila the results talk for themselves ...
Next year i will prepare the spot with my own soil because the soil there is not good @ all... the plants suffered a lot... the spot is great so little soil improvement and i'm sure i will get giants too :)
I just came back from my friends and you can not believe it with little love these Malawis are giant's!!! Cant't make pic's because he has heavy paranoia ;-) but one Malawi is more than 3m and fully matured... the other are superb' too and also ready for harvest.
It's a bit scary that this Malawi are so big Monsters here...
btw. his GT is more than 3m... it's the highest cannabis plant i have see in real life...

some notice after hanging the plants in my dry room:
Malawi the early one is more fruity heavy odor but very very nice... we all love it! My Cat's too... The later one is Malawisch like wood old oil Africa soil mystic dark incense... just magic... you get high only by the odor... these smell's so potent and i'm sure it is true! Best plant with the highest yield so far... big hard buds.
PCK has very nice odor(sweet fruity) and great locking violet colored bud's
Nepal Jam has also very nice odor like peanut butter more yield than PCK. I noticed red sticky stems.
Erdpurt citrus like odor very good yield from one plant and nice purple coloring. also sticky stems
Congo nice sativa like odor wood and oriental. little late so not so big buds... next year from clone like Malawi
Bangi Haze little fruity odor. Greener pheno no coloring on my balcony the Bangi Haze has deeper green and purple coloring and hash odor
Kali China & PCK i have two phenos... one more kali like with cheese creamy odor the other more hairy and more fruity odor... still alive ...
more will follow with smoke report...
thx
M.

here some better pic's from coloring etc...

Congrats for the harvest MadMac

I'm so happy to hear you have already harvested most of your ACE outdoor strains there in Holland with good results :)

It's amazing that most of the strains were able to mature there correctly, so far north even in a wet guerrilla spot, with enough maturation and without much mold problems.

Maybe you can try next season Congo and Bangi Haze from clone, i'm sure they will mature earlier and will perform better in this way.

I cannot thank you enough for all your frequent updates and for all the detailed info you have provided during their development.

Now it's time to enjoy after so many months of hard work ;) Have a great autumn!

Congrats MadMac ;) Well deserved prize!

You did a great outdoor job in a climate that is usually not very suitable for these kind of sativa genetics, i'm also glad that other growers appreciate your work from this season.

Ice Water Hash from Bangi Haze & Erdpurt

Ice Water Hash from Bangi Haze & Erdpurt

high @ all,
here the final results from the outdoor grow ice water hash...
now after getting into it i can give some infos ...
the maximum you can put into is around 400-500g wet or 200-300g dry material... best is use fresh frozen wet material... for a full run i used 2 kg crushed ice and 2 kg normal ice in small blocks. I use a Laundry Net and make layers with ice and weed... then put in wash machine and now use ice cool water(cool as possible - just before it freeze) around 10 liter so that the water cover the filled Laundry Net... than wait 3-5 min and than start the machine for 3-15 min... depend on what you like... i do first run max 6 min... than you get first grade hash with a good taste and terpene profile of the plant.... so longer it is in the water so more you wash it out...

interesting note:
...from Bangi Haze i got nearly white hash and the most compared to Erdpurt... but the kick is totally different... after licking the spoon after each run you really can taste the terpene profile of the plant and how the high is... first Bangi was uplifting very motivating and speedy... than Erdpurt was really more couch look and all went slowly... if you not sure what the difference between sativa or indica is than this is the best way to discover... also to really taste the plant in it's purest form...and get a overview of the high you can expect from it after a good cure...
Just lick the spoon and your on ;-)

Hey MadMac, great job on the hash, mmmmmm, looks great.
Was wondering if you can give more info on the early Malawi. I think you said it came from a breeders pack. Was it from the female or standard breeders pack. Do you know which parental line it came from? old killer, new killer, fruity, or purple Malawi ?
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers GG

high gorilla ganja;
well it was the fem pack from 2014. Was my first order from a reseller... i got 3 Malawi fem 2014 & 3 Golden Tiger fem 2014... all germinated and one was the fruity early Malawi... i was wondering that this one was so early so i made some clones and gave them to my friends to test it this year outdoors... and voila bullseye... damn potent and sticky like hell... all my friends are very very happy... so the early fruity phenos are also in the breeders pack selectect you can also ask dubi if he sells you them separate...
Malawi is the holy grail i was looking for and it's so amazing that i got this pheno in my first ACE grow... maybe a sign... who knows ;-)
...once you smoke Malawi most others become weak... so be warned

How common is the early flowering Malawi @dubi after seeing madmac on here and over at MJN I'm longing to find a similar pheno of this type to try out at a slightly high latitude (53n) next year.

Intending on doing a pack of fems perhaps a couple of packs to try and locate this pheno. As its been said by madmac this pheno is the holy grail for me also, works inside and out doing great things in both departments.

Take the liberty of sending this Q to ace seeds direct via the website, anything I get back I'll stick up here for all to share :)
