What kind of mini do you got? I know I've seen LG's run in this kinda cold. So what else?

Cheapest I could find with all/most the same specs was a YMGI unit 36K BTU but I cut the factory connectors off and welded the copper lines together works like a charm now, it was leaking coolant before from the factory (easy connectors), found the leak with a dye test and fixed it. Ordered it from a place in NC 2400 SHipped to the door here in MI, found it on EBay

i like this idea.. a lot. i hated runnin the SFV, stretchin like a mofo, floppin over, nugs 3" apart. felt like a waste. not to mention finicky with the nutes.

91 Bubbles is an awesome name.

Hi PK!, I was just browsing through the indoor soil section and came across your thread. I ended up getting stuck reading all this information. I've got a few questions:

Tea Mix:
40 gallon batch

1500ml earthwormcastings
400 ml Molasses, Earthjuice Hi-Brix

In addtion I sometimes throw in some addtives, If I do it is these and this amount:

per gallon:

5ml Cal/mg+ (General Organics, molasses based)
7.5ml Diamond Black (general organics humic)
1.25tsp Floralicious organic base enhancer, grow or bloom depending on time
1.25tsp Bio Bud (general organics line) in flower
1.25tsp Bio-Weed (general organics line) in veg
1tsp Earthjuice Micro Blast

Do you use straight RO water without pH'ing the water when feeding? Do you pH the water for when you are making the EWC Tea? Do you think it would be a problem if I were to use those additives all the time at the right stages of growth and flowering?

My next question is:

Soil mix:
1 x Bag of Ocean Forest
1 x Bag of Canna Coco
1 X Bag of Happy Frog
1/2 Bag Chunky Perlite
30# Earth worm castings
6 cup pulverized dolomite lime 2-1 Cal/mag ratio
6 cups Bone Meal
3 cups Blood Meal
3 Cups Azomite
3 cups Greensand
3 cups Kelp Meal

What are the size for all the bags? When you said you used 1 less cup of Nitrogen for 8 week strains, you meant using ~2-2.5 cups of everything that is "3" cups on that list? Thank you for taking your time to read this. I know you are already a very busy man. Have a nice day sir!

The bag are the largest you can get but different volumes.

Ocean forest = 1.5 cu ft
Happy frog = 2 cut ft
Canna coco = 50 L

When he is referring to reducing nitrogen in the mix it is the blood meal.

I'm sure he will correct me if I am wrong.

Hey PK, a couple more questions while I am at it. How long does your soil mix last? I ask because I plan to just go from rooted clone straight into a single 20 gallon smart pot. Also, do you dilute your tea or just feed it straight after mixing it? Thank you in advance.

TonyGreen- Thanks man

Mister D- Thanks appreciated.

Ekomsi- Thank you and yes, an AC that can handle these cold temps is a must in my parts.

IDO- Yeah man I have all kinds of pollen chucking to do over here, I love testing the results and finding something new. I will release from time to time some stuff I am going through but eventually I hope to have some worked gear available.

Adrift- Seriously it is, sour rankness.

Whatthe215- Well you will see it here! The SFV has been getting silvered for a while now and is ready to go into flower any day. The sour bubble is right there along with it, I can't wait.

Ilovecoconuts- Wow I bet that took a while lol. I use straight RO water, I do ph, I also ph my teas, and I don't water my teas down. I wouldn't overload on to many additives in veg especially early on, the soil mix has plenty of available nutes for veg. I only mean 2 cups of blood meal, everything else stays the same. If you run anythig over 63 days go with 3 cups. The soil mix will last quite a while, I have vegged 10 weeks and flowered 8 and they came out nice. Busy, yes.....lol Thanks for stopping in.

Burning- Thank you, you are correct.

Alright IC time for a nice little East Coast Sour Bubble Harvest update. I took her down at 70-72 days. She is one sour rank little girl and she puts out a hell of a yield with out a lot of veg needed. She is simliar to her mother in alot of ways, the ecsd, yet the sour bubble has some nice influence as well. Her smell is addicting and may be more rank then her mother. Her smell translates into flavor 100%.

One plant shown here. I vegged for 24 days, I went from the cloner right to their final pots a 7gallon. 6 girls total under 1K.

Thanks for answering my questions PK! I read that with soil mixes, they need to "cook". Do you cook yours or do you just mix and use right away?
