Grow closet design...steppin up

DWC sounds good to me!
I considered it before but I thought it may be too hard to keep the res cool enuff...but I can actually put the res outside of the room if necessary, so that should help it stay cool. As far as $$ goes, I can swing it as long as it's reasonable.
I'll finish my current grow in soil & hopefully have the dwc closet done by that time. If not I will run 1 last grow after this 1 one in soil & I'll have the new room finished by then for sure. I'm really anxious to see what your design is like & see how well I can copy it.

yessir!! I've finally decided to move up & out of those rubbermaids. They work good but this closet will work out ALOT better for me. I'm studying up on DWC now...

as the light cant bounce up from the black floor the airgap underneath is kept light free : ),

What size do ya think for the tank? I'm guessing, maybe 20gal or 2 10 gal rubbermaids. Also what size scrubber & cfm's on fan would ya recommend?
Man, I've been reading this board & before this 1, OG for the past 5 years or so but I'm still finding my knowledge to be very, very limited when it comes to alot of things about growing. There is just so much to learn....too bad I can't learn thru osmosis.
Any1 can feel free to point me in the right direction...I don't wanna wear GJW down by asking too many questions...LoL. I'm reading up on scrubbers (prolly DIY), fans & DWC set ups...alot of reading to say the least..haha

its cool man , ive even done 1to1 via emails for grow knowledge lol.. you wont wear me down .
for that space and light a 4" would be fine .. but go with a 5" and 5" carbon filter , ducting etc..then if it gets hot in the summer you can still expel the hot air
tank size is uo to you but it must be black and between 11" - 14" deep
the bigger the tank the longer it can be left without a top up !
