Thank you it will be nice to see your lady's grow! Wow you have a lot of seeds fair play, why don't you grow them all under the HPS I don't think Auto's get too big. Or do you live in a nice climate with great outdoor potential? :)

Hi wu wei, i cant grow them all out at once i have other plants going & dont have the room i'll make more seeds sometime next year then maybe grow a whole tent full, and i do live in a great climate for outdoors i have 4 outside now & sprouting 6 more to go out now.

orev, no problem 5 gallon pots are big enough to let the roots grow for awhile with out tangling each other their still real small right now i'll be transplanting them in just a few days with no hassles, this is just a method to save room as i was waiting to get my new greenhouse the greenhouse i have them in now is extremely small 2ft x 2ft with a bunch of veggies in there too, the new greenhouse 10ft x 7ft x 6ft is here, setup & ready to go i have lots of room now.

Hi Icon, ah right I understand the greenhouse is a good idea then, and it will be amazing as you are in a great climate for outdoor cultivation, that's cool you will have your self a tidy amount of bud from all of them! You should get some normal strains too, get them in the green house and grow them huge, trees of weed haha!

Take it easy, peace! :ying:

hi gang,
wu wei, i got a ton of normal strains i was thinking of doing some outdoor bushes like nepali, pck, durban hybrids, pakistan or moroccan but i may have some landscapers coming to redo the yard in a few months so thats why im just doing autos this year ill be able to get a few in & finished before they come here.

im going to do 2 plants per 3 & 5 gallon pots these are so small they take up very little room i have some pink salads going 2 per 5 gallon pot no problem.

lets start out with the outdoor plants

Hey there Icon they are all looking great and awesome green house too! Just letting you now that you really should not have two plants in 1 pot regardless of its size, one plant will steal the others nutrients, you will half your potential yield!!!!! I have my blue diesel auto in a 6 gallon pot. Hope all goes well friend, Peace out

i hear what your saying but i dont have the soil/money & its easier for me this way i dont have a lot of energy do to health problems. The plants outside are doing better then the ones inside i think their bigger & getting longer & more intense light from the sun so im going to put all the plants outside.

thanks agito, i got that greenhouse for $96 delivered to the door its made pretty well too. i expected plastic frame but it feels like steal & fairly sturdy.

.

I understand I just thought I would let you know. Are the plants outside single in pots :) if your thinking about growing them all outside maybe you could put them in the ground, I would not try to seperate the rooots just plant them in as they are?

They are all looking good, nice job!

I am very sorry to hear about your health problems hope all goes well for you! :ying:

Looking great Icon, really diggin the greenhouse.

Are you planning on making some seed from your PR? I was thinking of making some to play around with for later, maybe some crosses with a couple of other auto's hopefully......Ive never tried any of the auto's before, so Im not too sure of what to expect but should be a fun learning experience/

I'll be doing mine OD, just waiting for the weather to warm up.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Wu Wei, i cant put them in the ground cause the ground is all rock & hard clay & it would be way too much work for me to dig hole etc but that would be the best way to go.
I understand that they can rob each other of nutrients etc but like i said i just dont have the energy to be planting all of them into their own pots & because these plants stay real small the roots dont go very deep or grow very rapidily. maybe next year i will be able to do it more proper to grow them out to their full potential (in the ground)
Health will get better as im about to go on a recovery journey detoxing from mercury & lead poisoning. so next year will be more promising.

beakermuppet, thank you i am going to make more seeds & some PR x (sgs) white citrus & PR x (sgs) pink salad i just got done making about 200 pink salad seeds to play with.
i love auto you can grow them no matter what the light cycle is & make seeds too so easy. I believe pink salad has PR in it or a purple mazar. I plan on making a few hybrids with the PR with normal strains too like afghans & LVPK, mandala#1,a durban hybrid would be awsome but that will be later.

when you do yours are you going to do a grow log or anything? would be nice to see yours too just asking no biggy.

Hey Icon, sorry to hear about the health problems and hopefully everything works out for ya.

Ive been eyeing up SGS gear, Ive heard a lot of good things.....Kudos on the crosses, they sound great......what strains from SGS would you recommend?

For auto's, Im gonna try the Purple Ryder (pollen source), 60 day wonder, 60 day lemon, white domina max auto from Kannabia, and Thai Fantasy max auto from Kannabia. It's gonna be Guerrilla style as Im not legal so it should be interesting. Im going to use the PR pollen to make some crosses, gonna try pollinating a bit of everything and see what happens.

Ive heard mixed reviews on the DNA auto's, and pretty much same with the max auto's. I guess the max auto's take like 90 - 110 days or something and get fairly large so it should be fun at the very least :)

Thinking of doing a journal, I might take photo's of everything and post them after Ive harvested (If I get to harvest lol). Not sure yet, we'll see how she goes.

Im also trying some stuff from Chimera.......his Mountain Jam #2 and something called Jack pine that I can't find any info on........and some mr nice medman for kicks.

Hoping on a couple of other late editions as well.

Hoping the season goes well!

Keep up the good work Icon!

I was just trying to think up a way to help you budd, but I completely understand about your health problems now! I would not worry too much about the plants stealing eachothers nutrients, maybe give them some flower boost if you have any, that will feed them :) you have a great grow there anyway and many plants I am sure you will have a nice amounts of dank bud!!

I am very sorry to hear about your health problems, stay strong brother you will get better. Peace :ying:

Having grown out probably 150+ autos in the last 7 years, making medical strains (not stealing genetics) for the last 5.5+ yrs, I can tell you Purple Ryder has some problems!! Bought them out of curiosity....4/5's were males, 2 hermied. 1 female out of the bonus numbered pack (16?)...nothing to write home about.

I saw where another consumer/grower asked greenpath to explain....another member chimed in, thus did not get his question/query answered. Would be nice to hear directly from the breeder.

With that explanation and lack of input, I decided it wouldn't be worth my time to mention my dismal experience. Cannot blame being a newbie for the PR performance....been growing for decades.

Don't want to burst your bubble...it's just my experience, and a few others, so I've read.

Others might tell you different, it was a great success. I hope they do!!Mine wasn't....

Maybe look a little further to make your own strains. Definitely SGS are stellar and stable.

However, there are many other stable autos out there to develop your own hybrids....just sayin'.

Hey acrid, thanx for sharing your honest opinion........nothing wrong with that.

You def know your auto's, I think you are part of after thought? Looks like you offer some great gear as well, was eyeing up some of them to be honest......your 20 gauge and lapis troll sound nice.

I was looking for a decent line of m/f auto's to start off with, then I could throw some pollen around and see what happens. I really like the idea of auto's, Ive just been on the fence I guess. I don't want to dig a bunch of holes, and slug in a bunch dirt/nutes/water to have them turn out like crap/not potent.

But yeah, Ive got those other ones to work with, have you tried any of DNA's auto's or the max auto's? Found a couple of reports on the max auto thai fantasy and it sounds kind of interesting.

Thanx for the advice, I'll keep looking around for sure.......I still have a bit of time.

aridbud, I am going to copy a response to you in another section, with something added new here, as two different stories are written with your experiences, so to clarify, I will add more to this comment:

so you grow out 5 plants in a pack of 16? as it seemed like you mentioning getting 1 female out of a whole pack, so if you could clarify, as I did not see this written on your other text, or am confused if you grew the whole pack out or not.

"[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]majority of males.. never seen it in the line, and would say I have tested this plant more then any other plant out there. Last set was 8 females out of 10. Just chopped them all before the weekend ( 17th ) all were hermie free, all fed different things as they were test plants. Nor have I seen one hermie on other sets of these plants grown out, but thank you for the comment as I will keep an eye out for it, I had another test grower who grew it, high female count and no reported hermies. But will keep an eye out for others with similar problems

high male count can be attributed to a couple things, one I've seen is fresh seed, which these are not, some others are growing method, if you like to discuss your methods, we might be able to see a link in connection.. hermies, well that can be a couple things attributing to that also that could be causing that.

I am sorry to hear disappoint with the strain.. seems you should be able to have used the males as I'm sure you saw, or I can tell you good things about the line, being it's from the lowryder line, and there is desirable things that can carry being there from that gene pool. can you please report on the undesirable qualities of the smoke / smell / taste / growth ( aside from you saying high males as that is logged ) , as it's interesting being this is the first reported bad case.

I have a unwritten guarantee on seeds.. I can get you some replacements for bad experience, or I can send you a refund, PM to clear this up please, as I would like to set things straight.

if you can please link these other bad reports, as they have not directed them to me, or through PM, I am unaware of these reported bad experiences. The only other one I saw was yours again in ICON's autoflower section.

please send me or show some pictures of the purple ryder if you can, I'm interested to see there condition / setup / environment / growth / coloring / pheno, and to even see if you got purple ryder seeds or they were somehow mixed up along the way.."
