Nice looking beans.Going through my Green pheno Mountain Gold seed increase.
First off - powerful stuff!
Just starting to get dry enough but I'm encouraged with the first few hits in my dynavap. View attachment 19097135 Ive heard that Sativas can have a smaller trichromes. Sometimes the 25u bag can be the best. Just looking in the trim bin I can see that they are smaller, more dust like.
View attachment 19097136 Pressed up a little puck. Very tasty! View attachment 19097137 I went through and got a nice batch of mature seeds to add to my collection. View attachment 19097140
Just starting to get into these as they come off the drying hook but I'm impressed so far.
Dude thanks for the heads up! I snagged the last pack they had in stock just now.I've been swamped and mostly taking a break from growing this summer. My handful of outdoor plants just did not get enough sun and they didn't get enough water either so the yields were pitiful. That said, my one Mountain Gold plant which I revegged from indoors still gave me a small sampling of tasty smoke.
I have started my lights for the fall and winter season and just stuck some MG seeds in the paper towels tonight. Then I was poking around on North Atlantic Seeds site and was astonished to see the Oaxacan Gold! Holy shit...had to snag a pack of course and now my winter plans are getting changed for sure.
Sorry to hear about all the damage VM. Hope the cleanup is going well and you are staying safe.

I'm jealous I wish I had got regular PS so I had some of my own seeds this year. But I got them now just yesterday from NASC along with Oaxacan gold femsGot some nice mature seeds!

Ah, yes, that sounds like my experience. I tell myself that by buying regular seeds and making my own F2, I will not have to buy seeds again. And then, somehow, I buy more seeds.I bought feminized Purple Satellite and Green Mountain Grape last season.
It just made more sense for my situation.
But then I saw how much fun everyone was having with the Mountain Gold.
I hadn't made a bean in 40 years!
Figured I wasn't getting any younger.
Gotta say it was a great decision. I had as much fun making the beans as growing the plants.
So much so that I grabbed the new Oaxacan offering and a pack of Zacateca Tribute regs for next seasons increase.🫘
Hello @moose/MI!A lazy Sunday morning here.
Trimming some of my Mountain Gold seed increase buds.
Purple pheno Mountain Gold.
I had 2 different purple phenos so I kept the crosses seperate till I could evaluate.

Hello @WestShoreBestShore!My MG looks a lot like yours, moose/MI! I just did the last of my green pheno branches today, as they are moving toward being TOO dry. What a difference a year makes! I am throwing "buds" into my trim pile that I was excited to save last year! My last cut on my girls, the most mature at 10/27, I could not bring myself to wash, as I had all of my other cuts. Yes, there are a few bugs, but there are a lot of beautiful crystalline trichs that get all over my fingers as I trim/get off the branch. I was going to put them all in the new "Trimbag" I got, and shake them up, but I decided this is just too precious to do that with. I will hand trim these, even if it takes me a long time. Some of the other strains I grew this year, I will just throw in the Trimbag...
Nice plants. I like your training with the bamboo stakes. I might try that on my next sativa. What are you doing with the plants on the left? Looks sort of like a mainline? Here's an update on my Purple Satellite. Sat. will be the end of week 3. Filling in nicely, stem rub getting stronger by the day. Right now I'm getting candy scents. Can't quite identify it yet.

For kicks, here's an overview of the garden in full bloom. Front right the PS, back right Skunk#1 (circa 70s), The two on the left are GFOGs.

@Gato420. Nope just a single topping and LSTing to holes I drilled in the pot rim. Once they starting growing beyond the edge of the rim, I released the constraints to get a more upward growth pattern. Sometimes I'll leave a well spaced side shoot on each branch to fill the middle of the plant. These GFOGs are so tight-noded (if there's such a word!) that I needed space for better light penetration, pruning, etc.Nice plants. I like your training with the bamboo stakes.
