These were some testers that VM very generously gifted me this spring. CaliPurple x Nepali. They finished about a month ago, and I wasn't sure how they would turn out when I jarred them up. Well, they have been curing for at least three weeks, and I opened a jar today. A wonderful mild fruit aroma greets your nose, along with some fermentation aromas. The buds are chunkier than I expected, medium size, starting to look nice. Better tasting now than when freshly dried. Clear motivating sativa high for sure.

Excellent work man. Have you found the height to be pretty managable? Mine stayed surprisely compact for a sativa. The pineapple banana bud i grew was definitely more stretchy
Yeah, both of mine were very small, partly because I rushed the veg, and partly from root restriction in small pots.

Also, I'm doing 11/13 lights this fall and that is speeding up flowering of all my plants. Saves an hour a day of electricity too. I need to try to finish my projects by January because our rates are going to shoot up and missus told me to slow it down. I will be doing a microcab this winter...last time I had 19 grams from just 39 watts total of screw in LEDs and computer fan. I could probably do even better with the right strain and using a cutting, more training, etc.

I placed an order 9 Oct. Checking tracking (today) says Warehouse Dispatched on the 18th.

Not to make excuses but they just opened shop (Oct 1)after being closed for the summer. Perhaps some of the delay is due to that.

Someone mentioned it taking “three weeks” to receive an order. My recollection for previous orders is the same.

The day of the harvest has arrived, Zacateca Tribute is frosted, it gives off a strong smell of mixed fruit it does not have the typical smell of grass, but if
squeeze the flowers full of resin the smell changes to an intense balsamic pine scent ash fruit ment like vicks balsam but more fruity,I immediately tried the very good resin left on the scissors, they are still in the strong high phase.

You got to just love her!!!
Federation was one outstanding seed co. And their Hawaiian Sativa was the rocks! If I may MK what latitude are you and did you use any light dep? I have never flowered her outdoors at Lat 42 degrees North. Though I have flowered her during winter months in the sub tropics. Nice work!
Thank you for sharing!

thank you! it is in greenhouse, its always warmer there than outside. yes it is light dep. but only 15 - 20 days before it would start to flower naturally... but still it is going strong and quick. smells like tropical heaven.

I didnt get any curvy banana buds though... like you have. what is the effect of her for you?

You are most welcome, the high is very upbeat and clear. I gave a sample to Texastea maybe he can chime in also. If not grown to fruition she can be a bit weak but if well grown to a ripe age she can be very powerful the smell can be that tropical floral lovely to a menthol fragrance. and some plants can make buds that are a bit racey. Oh and most of the buds I have grown on HA have not bean curved that was more on bigger plants. smaller single stalked plants can be arrow straight.
Hope that helps!
PS do you mind saying where your seed came from? I flew to Vancouver, man I don't even remember the year but quite a few years ago and purchased 4 packs of seeds through a seed broker who drove me all over the city. to one of the last venues that had the last 4 still in stock, even Marc Emery was out in his store.

thanks for description @vermontman , I got them from grower from Oregon, he bought it online and liked it, so he reproduced it for himself. I like that line has zero intersexual issues. very good work!

I sent some seeds to RC Colas, so he can mix it with yours and open the genepool more maybe. I can share some with you, and you can see yourself, if it is different to yours somehow.

your description fits to what I smell.. fruity mentholy. did you get any gas smell?

I read that pineapple found some incense pheno or elanius(he got it from RC Colas) found blueberry pheno, did you get some of these unusual phenos?

cheers.

Actually Pineapple got his HA from me originally I never noticed the incense but that could be just my nose. Never saw anything Blueberry like. Mine have always been very much the same and almost clone like stable. It might be good to open the gene pool a bit. I am packing now and leaving tomorrow for the season though my house is still upright from Ian, I know I have water and electric, maybe no functioning sewer and I wont know about internet until I get there. Just checked Last years HA seeds are in my luggage. I will get back to you when I can, may check in one more time this eve.
Signing out

Safe travels to you and yours! :D

I'm about to try germinating one of those Grapes. I want to keep it small and use a mini cabinet this winter...
