Plants look great man!

I feel ya on pulling tarps. I am hitting the deps with large plants to keep numbers down, but plan to pull tarps all the way into Sept this year. Started pulling around April 5th. Mostly small deps, but I don't trust other people to be punctual, or reliable. So looks like I will be postin' in the Garden Of Eden for quite some time.

The wife and I are relatively new to the area, and are in love with how we live in the clouds on some days. We are closer to Pinecrest, so we also get a fair amount of thunderstorms in the summer. Just love living here.

Punctuality and reliablity?! Does that even exist around here? Ya im definitely pushing the numbers but ill have them down before any type of "heat" will be present anywhere in the area based on past history. I love it around here too, magical!

Numbers? Those have gone the way of punctuality and reliability. Square footage can go meet up with off of them as far as I'm concerned.

Nice...lived in Western NV for a while...spent a lot of time on 'back side' of Yosemite.

Hope all goes well with you this season.

Hey Arid..I'm moving to the Fallon/Fernley area unless I have to run a warehouse in Carson.....I loved the eastern side of the Sierra's! going to go back and hit those mountains with my backpack and dog again soon!:tiphat:

The growth of the chamise is incredible this year. Incredible growth and pollination. The view up into my backyard is full of it!

Hi jbarsk8, :tiphat: I've been checking in from time to time, enjoying your grow and I have a quick question. How many feet between the pvc hoops in your hoophouses?

Thanks

Worm thank you for stopping in. The hoops are 3 feet apart in the houses. You could do less spacing, which would make it more sturdy but i dont find it too necessary and that just means pounding even more rebar.

Great...oh, sorry one more question, approximately what length of rebar is used?
I need a little rain shelter and a small pvc hoophouse seems to be the best option. The rain can be quite harsh on the plants here.
