Grapevine Sour Bubble BX4/1IX

Not much exciting happening at the moment. I did put three into flower and had one confirmed fem at 7 days. The other two are at 9 days I think, and have not shown sex yet.
None of the plants in veg have shown any pre-flowers yet.
All plants are almost identical, and are alternating nodes now.
I'll get some shots when I get my cab more situated and things settle. Trying to finish up some other stuff now.

Charles...the sb's have had a funk since they were seedlings. Very pungent funky. I don't know that we will see the same growth and action from the OGBGxSBBX4. I have some of those too, but it will be later in the year before I pop any of them.

This is the first fem starting to make bud in her little corner. So far one female, and two males. I just got in from a day trip and it looks like I may have two more boyz.

The upper right hand budsite is the main stem. After training them, I let loose their binds once they show me their underpants. The main stem wants to straighten out and it sort of tiers them into a stair step or coliseum of sorts.

4 boyz and 1 gurl so far. Last 3 sexing now.
There is no preflower to this plant. All 8 were cast on March 3. The last three have been vegging for 80 days now and no sign of sex w/ 18/6 light.

The one fem is looking fabulous!
She is stretching out and the bud sites are finding their homes.

All three fems are now in my "toob tubs", which are two .6 gal coffee jugs stacked up w/a central wick that sits in my "Groove Toob". The wick starts out with hydroton and perlite, then a mix of 50%FFOF/50%Coco fils the wick and the tubs.
I top feed the tubs as ordinary soil grow until roots find the toob res., then they are only fed by the res until flush. The Toob makes flushing an easy task, as I can flush as much as I want without ever moving the plants container. I normally flush the hell out of em, then just suck the run-off out of the res. and recharge the res w/plain water.

I am very proud of that contraption, and it performs past my expectations.
Top shelf SB buds will be along very soon now!
(one more plant to sex...I just may get 50% yet!)

Not much point in shots right now...I will take a few and post them up soon. Female #1 is budding up and getting ready to show off.
Every plant has been a stinker. An intoxicating funk that brings on anticipation of the highest head!

All are in 12/12 now. I started about 3 wks ago with a couple at a time until I had the lot sexed. Once they showed, they either got the axe, or transferred to their final container.
I do have cuts of the fems. I am going to try and get these to reveg and flowered again outside before frost. Be close.
The first fem is about 3 wks in 12/12 now, and has her bud sites working. I'll get a couple shots tonight.

Things were rough this winter...shit happens...
Now that I have a cab full of sour bubble, along with a couple of my own chuckings, things feel like they are back on par again.

Now, my summer and fall are also planned out. In fact, the summer lineup has been cast in pucks. I'll start a new thread when things start poppin.

She is a bit more of a Sativa Diva than the rest...

The way my system is set up, it's hard for me to get good full plant shots. Those will have to wait until harvest time. I pulled the sativa leaning pheno out of the tube for her shot, but I hate to pull them out and disturb their roots in the tube. I'll get a shot or two of how those roots look next time I pull one out. I really like my tube though...best of both worlds soil and hydro together.

Oh..I wanted to mention...
I don't think that the SBBX4's need a whole lot of nutrients. They suck it up and make almost plastic looking leaves from all the nutrient uptake. They also seem to take a long time to flush out so, I will not use nearly as much feed when I run them again.
