I run the exact same......2 gal smartpots. How often are you feeding? I usually do 3x in veg and 4x in flower. this is a 4x4 tent with 4 glues in 2 gal smartpots

You don't need big pots for coco. 2 gallons work fine. Just require frequent feedings. I have grown one pound plants in 2 gallons. They suck the water up pretty quickly when they get big, but this is not a bad thing if you have the time to tend to them. If the pot is drained dry, no problem. Roots take oxygen from the air, which stimulates growth. It does not have to be dissolved oxygen. Then re-water/feed and they love it!

This is my first round with her but I'm running 15 of them in 3 gallons (50/50 Vermifire/Roots Organic) in a 3x6 tray. Seems to be working alright.

V&B RO formula , didn't like the PH swing with the dirty in a rez .

i use 2 & 3 gallon pots of coco too , but i do see a difference in yield between the 2's & 3's ..... mostly use 3's now unless i'm stickin a bunch of smaller plants in .

if i ever get out of this attic & into a room with some headroom , i'm gonna do 3 gallon smarties of coco in my 3 x 3 trays flood & drain style .

I like the bigger 5 gl pots for flower so I only have to water once a day or some times once every two days, but I do veg them big, like 5 ft before flower

Ok cool thanks for the info gentleman.
Ive got some in 2's and I happen to have a frigging pot collection...so I will toss in a few 3's and give em a day in court..
Ive also been eyeballin the loose fill rockwool to maybe switch over I switched a few pots to that an they are doin phenominally well.
Its so much easier to water than coco no special care it doeant get dry spots or compact like coco can.

Go Hempy style, and only drill one hole 2 inches from bottom.....works great. Better growth/yields than "regular" pots.
Agreed, 2 or 3 gallon pots are fine. Bigger pots if you don't want to have to water/feed frequently.

it's really almost strain dependent for me in terms of 2's or 3's....cooks, og's get 2's...more vigorous rooters get 3's(ssh,glue etc)

I'm using 3,5 generic airpots. I noticed a improvement from round to square. Keeping the roots from spiraling the bottom of the pot helps alot

i ran a room with 3 gallon pots and they dont compare to the ones i ran in my coco beds which did 3lbs per light, the root balls, really root mats were huge

5gal pots here, 4 glues currently with other plants in a 5x10x6.5' room with the ceiling stretched out to 7'+ for more height room. 2x600hps. glues are 6' (some 6.25' in the corners). feed/feed/water cycle. harvesting in 3 weeks. my first run of the glue was in a 1.75 test pot that yielded a tad over 2 zips (cured). im guessing 3.5-4+ per 5 gal pot.

Could hit 4oz in 3 gallon water only organic soil...

In a 5 gallon pot imagine 6 would be very do-able...without any effort at all necessary.

That's high yields considering in a normal scenario 2-2.75 in 3 gallons was average - depending on the genes...but Glue really is one of the best all around plants I've seen. Great yields with great quality. Such a rare combo.
