I know exactly how that bee feels,
I'm actually relying on the high humidity in my area to be the saving grace in regards to keeping the soil from drying out. I think it may be the only thing that keeps these plants alive in the 95++ degree summers here... I won't worry about mold / mildew as my spots all get the early morning sun and I'll be able to pull LONG before any sort of cold creeps back into the picture...
