Star, for what it's worth, I have always used my carbon filter on the end of the exhaust, fan blowing into the filter. Have never had any odor using it like that. It might not be ideal, but if you cant hang it on the intake side.....
If anyone is wondering, I have one exhaust fan pulling from two different areas (flower area and drying area). So it's easier to just use one scrubber like that. Works great really.

The amount of fingers on the leaves has to do with light intensity. the glue (and any strain really) can have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. maybe even 10, 11 if u really had it healthy and in strong light.
Ive personally never had more than 7 wit the glue because i veg with a 400 watt and flower under 600.
my last run actually had mostly 3 finger leaves with a few 5's, cause they were recently revegged.

Heres that last run. in a water only soil mix i threw together. they stacked pretty nicely for me. quality was pretty good too

How certain are you on the light intensity thing? All of my current plants from different strains all have 7-12 fingered fan leaves.. Hardly any 7s besides the youngest growth..

My sssdh and skywalker plants last run where vegging with just 10bulbs(led and cfls). Right now I'm vegging with A 400w MH and A few LED bulbs and flowering inside with A 400watt HPS and 6-15watt LED bulbs..

All plants besides the sssdh girls have 7-10 fingered fan leaves the sssdh girls have more on some..

really i think its a combination of light intensity, plant health, and genetics. at least thats what ive observed. right next to the glue that was revegged and had 3's and 5s, i had seed plants with 11's and 13's. So its more than just light intensity. but ime my plants will have more fingers when healthy and under strong lighting. like if u had a glue really healthy under optimal conditions and under strong lighting.. like a 1000 watt DE. i bet u could get 11 fingers. but if u vegged it under a 400 watt regular SE bulb with the bulb 6 feet above the plants.. it'd prolly be pretty hard to get more than 5 or 7.

Pappy first off, I gotta apologize mah bro. I was to concentrated on the number of fingers on Fans. I totally disregarded the pics in your last post.. Those plants look excellent my friend!

Hmmh very interesting.. Hard for me to put some input, As I have never grown out ANY Glue cut myself. I have seen multiple grows that had verified GG strains/crosses from seed though.. Too much pride and to dumb./stupid to ask for A cut at the time. Probably more towards me being stupid lol...

I think in my case, it might be light intensity even though im running pretty low wattage lights during veg and flower. Also it has to be genetics in my case, my plants are NOT doing very good right now.. The SSSDH girls I had in veg where in excellent condition and they have/had the most fingered leaves out of everything ive grown..

I remember another discussion about this subject.. Alot of people where agreeing that it might also be because the certain plants/strains that had high numbers of fingers, couldve been in one of the best environments for that plant. They must be producing so much energy to create so much food and have to crreate A bigger area to store more food/reserves.

The guys growing out the GG#4, I got A question.. Have you guys noticed if the plant will go through its reserves faster during A flush, with the plants with mostly 3-6 Fingered fans? Or does it speed up the effects A deficiency will usually do to them?

I'm doing my first run with glue in a proper room/environment right now. My last run was in a decent environment but the room wasn't sealed 100% and the walls weren't properly reflective, so It was not the most efficient setup, but my current run I have everything under optimal conditions in a well sealed room with proper lighting and co2 levels.

I just finished looking at around 3 weeks into veg I have 7 fingers already, They have grown a bit since this photo so I will take a new observation when I am in the room next time and some photo's of the highest fingered gals.

The plant that had the 7 leaves in my room was yhe mother under a 400w mh. My flower rooms, ive never seen more than a 5 bladed leaf, and even on this same mother plant under the same lighting i have never seen more tha a 5 blade leaf until recently.

Are you saying that GG4 doesn't normally throw 7 blade leaves? I ask because my plants all have nothing but 5 and 7 blades.

GG#4 doesnt make more than 7 blades per leaf, in my limited experience with her.
I grew her outdoors so light intensity was plenty strong & she never made more than 7 blades per petiol.
This has been discussed, at length, earlier this year.

Got it, when it was said no 7 blade leaves it made me question on if my glue is legit. After looking at more pictures from lots of other people I see lots of 7. My plants only have 5 and 7 blade leaves I think I I'm good.

i clarified in my second post that i think its more than just light intensity. i believe its a combination of light intensity, plant health, and genetics.
GG4 can certainly have more than 7. unclefishsticks has posted pics of GG4 with 9 fingered leaves. maybe even 11.

i personally have never had more than 7 with the gg4 either. but that don't mean its not possible.
