Had to flower her way earlier then I'd like because I have to shut down for a bit but glad I got to finally post a photo in here.

Already getting her lean on

Already getting her lean on

GG#4 The money stax cut

And for trimming. Best scissors I have found to date for trimming glue. At first I tossed them to the side as the "no stick" blades were bs and gummed up faster than any scissors I had used. However I hadn't used olive oil on the yet. Wiped blades with olive oil and got a solid 2 hours of trimming without having to do a serious cleaning. Every 20 minutes or so I just had to scrape the goo off the blades with my thumb nail which slides off with ease, covered with a glove of course. Swipe blades with oil and good for another round of smooth easy trimming with no sticking.

I hate to be Captain Obvious but are you not worried about getting olive oil on your trimmed buds?

Night and day.

Night and day.

It's gotta kill u not having the spring on em to bounce back open

Actually it was killing me to squeeze those spring loaded scissors any longer. Having to scrape them with a razor every few minutes even after using oil got old. These open with ease, like nothing after the olive oil is applied, and they stay this way for quite some time. I have used those spring loaded scissor for many years thinking they were the holy grail but my opinion has changed.

I haven't tried those so I don't know. I would imagine Teflon blades with a little oil is magic. They are small but i believe the picture is making them look smaller than what they are.

ur not wet trimming right? cause thats the best way to ruin ur glue...

do you do a two stage trim???

Harvest and cut off all material with no frost, hang to dry.

De-bone and manicure?

much less scissor action - more hands on, better quality - better bag appeal and the trim is 10000x better.

How does it ruin GG4 doing wet trim??? To me it is a major pain in the ass trimming, after being hung and all the leaves fold in. Would think it would be leafier, unless you spent minutes per bud.

Dry trimming. All the fan leaves and non resinous leaves get bucked off prior to hanging. Yes, de-bone and manicure. What seems so time consuming actually saves a lot of time. I couldn't agree more.

i just had a side by side of the gg#4, i had seeded a bunch of colas, hung them whole minus major fan leaves. then we wet trimmed the other 20 plants. in the end i couldnt believe how silver an sugar like coated the hung to dry whole buds where. so much so it prompted me to build a 6x10 dry room so i can hang things to dry now.... i wet trimmed for the last 15 years.

I noticed that also from dry trim. The strongest cannabutter I ever made was from GG4 sugar trim from dried. It was like 9 months ago, and think it was a lot more work though.

I find dry trimming to be much more efficient. Haven't trimmed up a Glue bud yet but I bet theres not a whole lot to it.

And I must say... Bud quality is greatly improved when buds are dry trimmed.

I almost always chop and hang them and buck off all the major fan leaves. I leave the smaller leaves with no little or no frost on there still to fall down and wrap around the buds. I found that this slows down the drying time and makes for a better, slower dry time. Here in Colorado buds can dry out too quickly and in my experience that can lead to having more of that excess chlorophyll hay smell going into trim and cure. Buds can dry out too quickly when they have no smaller fan leaf buffer and are all exposed from the trim :2cents:
