pollen does not fall off. Typical male you can shake the branch onto anything to collect the pollen. Rev plants won't do that for me. The pollen seems to be more wet. it sticks to the male flowers. It wont come off easy. I have to pick off the male flowers run them through a pollen box. Then I can get what I'm after.

All the recipes we use are for Na2S2O3. If you don't know what you have you won't know to add 50% more.. I wouldn't of even brought this up had I got the right stuff. I'm 100% sure they didn't think I knew the difference..

so the amended amount is 3.9 (edited thanks PF) grams of pentahydrate that correct ? the original called for amount being 2.5 grams ? . that was an awesome catch PF . man you saved some guys some trouble here .

many thanks again , :tip hat:

ps i will come back edit to correct the amount if i,m incorrect again .

so the amended amount is double for the other one ?? is .61 double ? or just over . or even better what would be the emended amount if using the other ?

i know thinks makes me seem stupid , but i need to get this right . that was an awesome catch PF . man you saved some guys some trouble here .

i can't even get the anhydrous where i am . i was sent the other so was a friend .

many thanks again , :tiphat:

50% more and 61% more are not double, double would be 100% more. Multiply the weight called for of anhydrous by a constant of 1.61 or 1.5, and that's the weight you should use of pentahydrous.

To correct the Pentahydrate to Anhydrous strength, take the 2.5 grams (required for Anhydrous mixing) and multiply it by 1.56=3.9g.. I use the recipe Kaiki gave me. Its been working for me. I tried the recipe thast listed on the web with no luck. Lots of STS mixes where posted in MO thread.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=301671
1g/60 ml ro silver
6g/240 ml ro Anhydrous
Mixed into 700ml RO..

STOCK SOLUTION
Part A: .5 gram silver nitrate stirred into 500ml distilled water
Part B: 2.5 grams sodium thiosulfate (anhydrous) stirred into 500ml distilled water.
If using sodium thiosulfate (pentahydrate) use 3.9 grams.

1:9 spray
use 100 ml of Stock mixed into 900ml RO

Yea I see that lineage chart, I'm still a rookie I'll admit so maybe I'm asking a stupid ?- but what I'm wondering is what region of the world are those different strains from...? Iv read you can learn about some of your plants likes and dislikes of temperature and such knowing where it came from originally on the globe... Or does that theory go out the window with these hybrids?

Las Vegas is where the Glue was born, could give you the exact address but think that would be against TOU rules.
PEACE!

EL CHAPO RECAPTURED FOLKS :)

That theory is gone with a Polyhybrid. Genetics used are from all over the USA then recombined.

What's a polyhybred vs a hybrid vs a purebred? My growing experience is only one gg4 grow deep... I get technically what a purebred (sure that's wrong word for plants) is- but what would be examples of this? Is t everything that exists now a hybrid of some sort unless someone has the stain Adam toked in Eden right? And what's difference between a hybrid and a polyhybrid?

A polyhybrid is a cross of two parents that are hybrids. A hybrid would be a cross of 2 different genetic lines or the offspring of two diff plants. So a polyhybrid is kinda like a hodgepodge lol.. polyhybrid is a plant comprised of many different parents 3 way cross.

you guys think the glue can get big outside, 7+ pounds?
Buddy and I were just harvesting some Glue he was growing in 20g smartpots, they were absolutely massive, a pound per plant despite the fact that he had too short of a veg and wasn't able to get his trellis up in time.

So it's definitely a producer, simply a matter of shaping the canopy according to the space you have to grow it in, and supporting it.

I know doublekindness has grown Glue outside, might check her threads to see what the numbers were like.

Not sure but I think a hybrid crossed to an ibl is still just a hybrid, not a polyhybrid, in order for it to be considered a polyhybrid doesn't it have to be a hybrid composed of hybrids?
