We are very much alike i too have a 9-5 and if i dont have time to burn before starting my day, i do find myself with my hands in the jar trying to figure out if i can squeeze one in real quick. Unfortunately i most often succumb to the smell and end up smoking anyway. Good thing is though that now i own and operate my lil mom n pop business, so even if people smell it on me they cant say shit and im the best in my profession so i actualy have more peope requesting services than i can handle. Its a good time

Lookin good Purp. Those are huge outdoor buds. What size pot did you grow them in and what was the yield? Did they take all that you could throw at them as far as nutes? Good Job my friend.

Hey Dr Purpur are u running a Sog setup or something?

The reason why I ask is because I have a 4x4 tent and I can only fit 9 five gallon pots in that space. I mean I know you have a foot each way on me in a 5x5 but how do you fit all those in a 5x5? I am not trying to be a wise ass I know comments on the net don't come off so good. Just curious because if that's the case and there is that much more room I am ditching my 4x4 and upping to a 5x5.

Wow 16 five Gallons under one light?
Even if you can fit 16 in there it seems that they would be too close together for 5 gallon sized plants.
I mean, i could see 16 smaller plants in 2 or 3 gallon containers but 16- 5 gallons seems like it would be a mess, and the plants would be overcrowded to the point it would be counter productive.

Doc, if you can, whenever you take pics next, please try and take a wide angle shot of the whole tent. I myself am trying to decide how many to try and fit in there for my mono Glue run.

I have basically a 4 x 4 space, and i can only ever fit like 6 or 7, max.
I guess i could fit 9 pots in my footprint, but the plants themselves would be way too cramped.
Mike, outta curiosity, how close together are those 9 pots? approx. Are they almost touching each other?
And also, when you harvest, are your 5 gallon pots filled with roots, or is there still room??

Heres a recent pic from my last run, Theres 7 plants, all in 5 gallon smart pots. They are spaced about a foot apart. The room is actually about 4 x 5. And to get the light to cover all the plants, i have to have it at least 1.5 to 2 feet above the canopy. (the hood is a 6" Blockbuster, 1000 watt)

Im also not trying to be a smart ass guys, i sincerely would be helped by this knowledge.

While it is possible pappy , cuz i've done it . you have to be carefull about what strain yu use . i think GG might be a little to much with that many plants ... as you say , cuz they stretch to much .

i had 16 SSH in 2 gallon pots of coco in a 3 x 3 tray under a 600 when i moved in here , first run after the set up , cuz its all i had enough of to be able to do it .



problem was .... i didn't antisipate the stretch & they got away from me & had to be trimmed way back !!! but if you antisipate it & can train them right it is doable .

just don't let them get like I did
this was 30 days later ....

Hey pappy yes they were really close maybe about 4 to 5" apart all the way around the pot. Last run I did 9, 3gallon pots and that gave me more room.

I guess the trick is I don't work them to much with Supercropping and pinching to bush them out. I would say the 9, 3gal pots were more practicle I had way more room for them. The roots shot out the bottom of my pots last time on most plants using fabric smart pots a few weret rooted out.

This run I am going for more of a Sog setup using 7x7 sqaure pots not really going for yield just going for trying to run and get as many strains finished in 1 shot even though some have branched like crazy it won't be a fully packed sog because I have to give the branchy plants some room to breathe.

Well I might have to upgrade my tent and get a Bigger one. I have been hoping to move shortly and wether I get a basement which I am hoping for or a spare bedroom I plan to run a bigger setup with more lights,bigger tents, or just utilize the whole room without a tent.

I kinda like the tent option because it kinda conciels everything and easier to control smells tent temps and everything else. So I guess I'll figure it out when I make the move.

6 & 2 would work perfect if I knew I could deal with the heat.
Actually 6 GG's in 10 gal. fill in a 4x8 screen nicely with just the stretch from the flip

Just trimmed up some glue. Probably the stickyest weed ive ever touched.
Thats a really really good name for this stuff.
While i was trimming i reached over the bud pile for something and i pulled my arm back with a nug stuck to the back of my forearm.

The outdoor plant was grown in a 100 gallon smart pot

I use a 5 x 5 tent, and a 4 x 4 tray. 16 of the white square pots fit perfectly in the tray with a inch or two to spare. I can grow them pretty tall as the tent is 6"7" in height.

I have each Gorilla and OGM plant secured to a thick bamboo stake, with some branches tied up as well.

The lights are off now, but you can see another 16 plant grow of mine.

everything i had originally planned on bringing to the cup is already spoken for. and that was just in THE FIRST DAY of asking for advance orders so that we could get a feel for what we might need. i knew this plant was going to get a positive reception, but this is just nuts.

so. only one thing to do for it. bring in extra help and turn my place into a full scale sticky factory. THE GLUE MUST FLOW!

When running a tray like that how long do you veg from clone? What is average yield per pot, 20-30gms? What size gallon are those white pots, 2??
That's how I run my SOG, but with 1 gal grow bags.
