All the branches bunch up together and shade each other out when they start doing that in my garden.
Do you just spread them to seperate squares in a trellis net or remove branches?

that's the idea behind scrog, spread them and get the light to all bud sites.

several people in cali have it but as stated before not much makes it to the club stores if any, it gets top money and the stores dont pay top money.

it feels funny not having any glue in flower :( I will make up for it later. All of my Emergency Bud clones have all grown into nice GG#4 bushes.. Im still waiting for them to get bigger. There is 1 more that needs to start tossing new Leaves. It's very interesting to watch a plant reveg. I have noticed new growth pops out of enlarged Calyx or looks like that's where is coming out of..

Watching re-vegging plants can be fun. Crazy basil leaves with resin, to serrated blades, with craziness in-between... My Strawberry Cough, and XJ-13 just finished that process. I still have calyxes with resin, and new growth lol

calyxes are just specialized leaves, when they reveg they just grow out, unfurl into regular leaves.

I've had to crack open hardened calyx's manually to help the leaf stuck inside unfurl.... but watching a bud become a branches is pretty cool...
