strains that U know and have experience with?
i have some experience to share...for example the gold standard for raw potency that i know was the Sour Diesel clone only cut that circulated in central New York State circa 2004 > 2008
the gg4 has to have a component from this cut her genes .. i would say she (gg4) is pretty darn close to being as potent as the old SD cut i'm talking about..
my Mr Nice Super Silver Haze keeper(stock from 1993) also reached these way above average potency levels
gg4 has fantastic potency levels...way high
out of all the breeder seed stock i've tried in the past 18 months gg4 turned out well above them all in potency level...with the exception of the hso Headband(i know it's a recreation,but they nailed it,judging by what i found & i've tried the clone only version ,it's more potent then gg4 and that says a lot) i've crossed these 2btw
you trace Headband back and U will find the Sour D...it all keeps comes back to that Sour D for raw potency...

i have to agree the real sour d from back in the day was a tad bit better than the glue , but the 84 day flowering was a PIA for cash cropping . but other than that , not much from back then (locally grown) had the power to compete with GG4 . but there are some things now that are very close , if not better IMHO . Hammers firestorm for me is a stronger stone & is less harsh on the old lungs .
Forgot to mention the Beisel#1 , its GWS & SSH crossed to the original diesel bred by some local guys , they hit it outa the park with that one too , very very nice pheno , but hard to find ! power & taste all day long !! hazy fuel with a sweetness !
