Yes sir..my 40 days is from 1st site of buds starting. Around 7 to 10 days after 12/12 flip. Thats how I've always done it and always will. I'm going to feed her another 20 or so days then a week or 2 of water til chop time.I always flower a lil longer then most as we like sedating type highs in Grassachusetts[

so its really around 50 days the way most people count it, looks good

So you are at 7 weeks and are going to take it another 4-5 weeks? Is this normal for GG4?

I know one thing GG4 hates too much light , I’ve had crops where she just locks up at like Week 4 and doesn’t get any bigger , I think light intensity is the problem tho I could be wrong ..

Has anyone run a lumen meter at the tops, that they think is perfect amount of light?

Good question ? I don’t like sharing my fuck ups but we live and learn :tiphat:

The first pic is one of the previous runs I did with GG4 when I think I only ran the lights @ 750-800 she was stockier but didn’t get as close to the lights as the second run shown below , I’m just trying to understand if it’s the light intensity or other factors ... both runs I maintained my EC @ 1.4/1.5 and PH @ 6.2 throughout flowering

The second run pictured about week 7 but as you can see they buds locked up and never got any bigger , this time lights where running @ 1000w

I’m pretty sure it’s light density may get 2 more lights and just run the all @ 750 for better coverage..

We had issues when we 1st ran gg under gavita. We got much better results @600-750w. Using 1kw the lights needed to be higher. We got bad leaf taco running @1kw to close to the canopy.

drop your feeds to about 1.2 ec max too , she doesn't like a strong feed in flower & will lock up .... BTDT ! & if you keep the PH closer to 6.0 they'll get more of the macro nutes they need to finish well . at 6.2 they're only getting Nitrogen & Mag .

i keep it at 5.8 through the stretch & then bump it to 6.0 for the budset .

I see thanks for that , I’ll think I’ll dim the lights and go again I just feel I’m loosing out on yield with less light but it’s not always like that it seems ...

Thanks bro, that means putting a separate water system in because I’ve got other strains but I’ll give it a go , I think you was the man who advised me to down EC to 1.4 originally :tiphat:

I’ll be back with better results next time I hope lol
