Does outdoor GG grow leafy like that?...

i guess so???
i wanted to see how it did outdoors, so i just put them in a simple organic soil mix and added some chicken shit to it.i would say they did quite well seeing i didn't touch them till harvest.
i also noticed that they did good fighting mold seeing that these are more of an indoor plant, i had a lot of cold temps early this year and a lot of rain.

what type of nutrients do you run her with hammer???

i found this post from who dat is when he ran it outdoors and i'd say they look very similar to mine.

Grizz, I'm running 2 Gg's in the greenhouse next summer. Will I run into trouble if I double plants up in a 35 gallon grow bag? I can't see full plants in the picture. Peace

I wouldent, 1 plant will be enough running full season like you do, they will need a cage around them to hold the buds up, they get really wide and bushy

Hey all. I have some Space Monkey growing at the moment going into 3rd week of flower. It'd GG4 x Wookie 15 .. The gg leaners seem to be N hoes as leaves seem to be fading from green.. is this common with the GG strain?

I will post pictures in next few days. I had to cut early, with plants vegged too long, and cut at day 50, because I was having a mold outbreak (my fault, GG4 is generally very mold resistant). I just started using state of art LED kits.

The top buds grew with almost no leaf coming out. I was afraid foxtailing. It is just about done drying, and tried some and was excellent.

Does anyone know the factors that effect whether leafy, or leafless??

I am wondering if the intensity of light is difference. Have heard of some LED growers getting, white buds, with trichomes on top of trichomes. It may have been an Ed Rosenthal article.

When I was getting leafy, was 600 watt on 4 X 4, or actually twice that in one tent, scrogged.

All chems and diesels like a good amount of N and lots of cal/mag. I grow in organic soil, hand watered and have noticed that GG4 likes higher PH. I have like 10 different strains going and only GG started showing deficiencies with my feedings at 6.4 I bumped hers up to 6.8 and everything cleared up.

I know one thing GG4 hates too much light , I’ve had crops where she just locks up at like Week 4 and doesn’t get any bigger , I think light intensity is the problem tho I could be wrong ..

Glue is one of those plants that is almost completely different outside , compared to inside. She has a lot more leaves outdoors. Needs direct sunlight all day long to come out right. Also needs to go full term to even be worth running. where as indoors, you could pull her a week early, and still be killer. Outside, not so much. She also changes in appearance a lot outside, to the point where a smell test is almost the only reliable way to ID, if there isn't a label on the plant. This is all in my experience anyway.
